"The purpose of a pub is to serve alcohol and, if you take that away, what are you left with? I'm starting to think this government doesn't understand economics," says chef Andreas Antona, owner of Michelin-starred pub The Cross at Kenilworth, in Warwickshire. "Pubs barred from serving alcohol? It's the most ridiculous proposal yet."
