PPP workers protest Gandapur’s diatribe Our correspondent By PESHAWAR: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Friday staged a protest to condemn Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur’s diatribe against Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. In the provincial capital, the PPP workers, carrying banners and chanting slogans, gathered outside the Peshawar Press Club. Speaking on the occasion, Zulfiqar Afghani and others asked the minister to tender an apology. “Bhutto was a great leader and we can’t tolerate such remarks against our leaders,” he added. PPP provincial president Humayun Khan announced the decision to stage a protest at a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Thursday.
