The unusual thing was that packed with the bananas, were 21 bricks of cocaine. The RCMP has since determined that the drugs were not destined for the Okanagan, but arrived here as a result of a missed pickup at some point along the way. Experts estimate that once cut with other agents, it would have produced upwards of 800-thousand doses of crack cocaine. Another update from Interior Health about the covid-19 situation at Big White. They identified 28 additional cases, bringing the total to 203 since the cluster was declared, showing there is still transmission between members of the community.
