Police make arrest in Vincennes rape investigation dating back to 2008
Police say the rape happened back in November of 2008.

VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - The cold case is concerning a sexual assault in 2008. It happened around Thanksgiving. According to police, a man entered an apartment on West Saint Clair Street in Vincennes. After entering the apartment, that man sexually assaulted a 21-year-old woman. The Vincennes Police Department released composites and renewed its efforts in January.
Vincennes Police chief Robert Dunham says, "I'm glad to let everybody know that yesterday our offender was picked up on a warrant on the charges from Knox county. He was picked up in Polk County Florida."
