Police, firefighters discover body in burned vehicle

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Police in Minot are investigating how a person ended up dead in a burned vehicle.
KFGO radio reported that police and firefighters responded to a vehicle engulfed in flames in southeast Minot early Thursday morning.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze and found the body inside the vehicle. Investigators say they’re trying to identify the body and determine the circumstances surrounding the fire.
The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the state Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting local authorities in the probe.
