Patrick Johnson of Baylor led his team to a clinching of first place in the East Region of DII-AA with an 8-2 win over rival McCallie Tuesday night. Johnson went six innings allowing one run on two hits.

The Baylor baseball team checked off another significant milestone they’ve achieved this spring as they clinched first place in the Region with Tuesday night’s 8-2 victory over arch-rival McCallie.
It was Baylor’s second-straight victory over the Blue Tornado and it was just a little bit closer than Monday’s 10-0 Red Raider victory at Baylor.
