Each stay in an igloo comes a $20 sanitation fee, so that the dome can be cleaned between each use, said Keating. There's a 15- to 30-minute sanitation period between visitors, which includes wiping everything down with sanitation wipes, spraying with Lysol and Microband 24-hour disinfectant sanitizing spray and airing the tents out, she said. The igloos also have the ability to hold up to 30 pounds of snow, she said, which means patrons can still eat outside when it's raining or snowing. Time slots currently offered at the restaurant include noon, 1:45 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The restaurant decided to order the igloos two weeks ago, said Keating, mainly out of survival.
