A total of 412 crorepati candidates are contesting in the 2024 Odisha Assembly elections with an average asset of Rs 2.89 crore per candidate. Former Coal Minister Dilip Ray is the richest candidate with assets worth Rs 313.53 crore. Additionally, 27% of candidates have declared criminal cases against themselves.
