The Nigeria Police Force has released human rights lawyer, Dr. Ayo Sogunro, over 18 hours after he was arrested by officers of the force from his hotel in Abuja. SaharaReporters earlier reported that global human rights body, Amnesty International, demanded the immediate and unconditional release of Sogunro, saying that it was gravely concerned by the arrest of the lawyer by the police in Abuja.
