Nigerian Cleric Being Tried Over Alleged Blasphemy, Abduljabbar Kabara Knows Fate Today

The embattled Sheikh Abduljabbar Nasiru Kabara, a Nigerian cleric being tried for blasphemy will know his fate today, December 15, 2022. The cleric, who was arrested and detained by the state government for alleged blasphemy, has been denied bail by a Kano Higher Shari’a Court in Kofar Kudu. However, the court will pronounce judgement in the case of blasphemy involving the cleric today. Kabara is being tried for allegedly making blasphemous statements against Prophet Muhammad. According to the charge, his statements are capable of disrupting public peace.
