For all intents and purposes, the Jaguars have essentially had Trevor Lawrence's name written down on the draft card since they secured the No. 1 overall pick in December and this was only intensified when Urban Meyer took the head coaching job the following month. Lawrence isn't perfect, but he is the best quarterback in the draft and has the tools to carry a franchise with some more development. Combine his on-field traits, Meyer's long-held obsession with his talent, and the way he meshes with Jacksonville's franchise as a leader, and this is a pick that is easy to make.
