New survey wants to know if Hudson County needs a new ferry service

But first, officials want potential ferry riders to take a survey.
Hudson County planning officials are studying whether new ferry routes could help move people in one of the state’s most populated counties and asking for residents’ help through an online ferry survey.
“Looking at Hudson County’s geographic location on two peninsulas, surrounded by water, we wanted to see if it would be feasible to connect additional locations by ferry routes,” said James Kennelly, county spokesman. “We wanted to explore the potential for new transportation options for Hudson County and the North Jersey region.”
