SHENZHEN, China, April 7, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Nam Tai Property Inc. ("Nam Tai" or the "Company") (NYSE Symbol: NTP) today announced the filing of an application to appeal the March 3, 2021 judgment issued by the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in the High Court of Justice in the British Virgin Islands (the "Court"). The judgment held that the private placement previously announced by the Company on October 5, 2020 was void and should be set aside.
The Company appeals on the basis that the judgment discloses a number of significant errors and, in particular, a demonstrable failure to take account of important evidence.
