( Nam Tai or the Company ) (NYSE Symbol: NTP) today announced that the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal in the British Virgin Islands (the Court ) has granted an order ( Order ) postponing the Special Meeting previously scheduled for April 26, 2021. The Court s Order was issued in connection with the Company s appeal against the order of Justice Adrian Jack of March 3, 2021, in which he held that the private placement previously announced by the Company on October 5, 2020 was void and should be set aside.  The Special Meeting will be rescheduled at a later date to be determined by the Court in due course.
