Nagaland news in brief: Unidentified female body recovered

Unidentified female body recovered DIMAPUR — Dimapur Police recovered one unidentified female body, aged around 18-20 years, from the railway track at KM 260/1 (near over-bridge) on Wednesday. According to a police report issued by the deputy commissioner of police (crime) and PRO, the cause of death was suspected to be due to illness and starvation. It added that the body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post mortem examination/ examination after completion of all legal formalities. The deceased has dark complexion and wearing a pink kurta with silver colour pant, black shawl, gold colour bracelet on left hand and silver colour nose ring on the left side and two tattoos on her left hand marked ‘ELAR.’ Relatives and friends of the deceased are requested to contact the officer-in-charge of GRPS, Dimapur, on phone no. 7085055021 for further information.
