Mountain Valley Pipeline seeks May in-service date | Energy

Mountain Valley Pipeline LLC, the joint venture behind the long-delayed pipeline, has requested the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approve a May in-service date for the project. But the 42-inch-diameter, 36-inch pipeline project has sparked environmental and safety concerns exacerbated by a Government Accountability Office report noting significant holes in federal oversight of pipelines like the Mountain Valley Pipeline.
