The Monroe County Health Department has scheduled two clinic dates in which the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine will be provided. The dates are April 19 and April 26. The clinics will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Monroe County Community College's Health Education Building, 1555 S. Raisinville Road. Appointments are required; this is a standard procedure with COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Monroe County. No walk-up clinics are taking place in the area. The Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine is a single dose, as compared to two other vaccines currently available in Michigan that require two doses each. Any Monroe County resident or worker age 18 or older is eligible to register for the April 19 or April 26 vaccination clinics run by the health department. Other vaccination options that are available include area pharmacies and a series of pop-up clinics that are taking place across Monroe County.
