LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Clemson track and field program had an extraordinary day on Saturday of the ACC Championship Meet, as both the men and women's teams finished third overall in the conference. The men saw four ACC Champions crowned, including the 4x400 meter relay team of Wanya McCoy, Cameron Rose, Tarees Rhoden and Aman Thornton. The women had three ACC champions of their own. Wanya McCoy was named the ACC men's track MVP for his efforts. He was the champion of the 400 meter run, the fifth place finisher in the 200 meter dash, and a key member of the ACC Champion 4x400 meter relay team. Tarees Rhoden defended his ACC crown in the 800 meter run with a convincing victory. His time of 1:46.61 is a school record. Giano Roberts came out on top of the 60 meter hurdles field, winning that title for the first time in his career.
