Meet the Team of 20 Competing at the 2021 PGA Championship - Part II Published on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 The 2021 PGA Championship is fast approaching and the ‘Team of 20’ PGA Professionals competing will be looking forward to facing The Ocean Course head on at Kiawah. We’ll be taking a look at the ‘Team of 20’ over the next week leading into the championship. Here are five more of the PGA Professionals who will be teeing it up in Kiawah, May 20-23. Michigan PGA Section Ben Cook is one of four Team of 20 PGA Club Professionals ー along with Danny Balin, Alex Beach, and Rob Labritz ー to have played in the last three PGA Championships. At age 26, he was the youngest PGA Club professional in the 2020 PGA Championship field. He won both the 2018 and 2020 Michigan PGA Section Professional Championship (he won the 2020 event by a record 8 shots). Cook played collegiate golf at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, where he was a Division II All-American and a two-time Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference player of the year.
