Manipur Violence: At least two persons were injured in firing by unidentified gunmen and a house was torched along the Bishnupur-Churachandpur inter-district border on Thursday morning. Security sources said the armed men started attacking villages at Phaogakchao Ikhai and Terakhong areas around 5am. Security forces retaliated resulting in a gunfight which continued till late afternoon. There was firing and hurling of bombs at Phaogakchao Ikhai on Wednesday, too, and one of the three persons who was injured died in hospital on Thursday. Stay with TOI for all updates
