Lori Kumler to fill open Alliance School Board post Special to The Alliance Review ALLIANCE – Lori Kumler was selected Monday to fill an open seat on the Alliance City Schools Board of Education. The unanimous decision by the four board members was made during a special meeting, according to a news release from the district. Kumler will fill John “Buddy” Gasparik post on the board. Gasparik resigned April 16. “I am really looking forward to working with this board,” Kumler said in the release. “It’s clear to me that they’re incredibly committed, and I can’t wait to work with them as well as the administration and all the amazing staff, teachers and students that we have.”
