Notice within a few degrees yesterday morning, fairfield was cooler this morning and has to do with the direction of the wind. Yesterday, fairfield had a northeast wind flow coming. This morning it is an onshore breeze. So a little cool pacific air trickling into fairfield. Fairfield is starting out cooler than yesterday. Here is a look at where we are seeing fog along the coastline and in the bay. Not any patchy or dense fog this morning. That is why you see that haze over San Francisco. Today, the warmup continues. Temperatures are in the upper 60s along the coastline and pacifica. 82 is expected for haywood. Mid70s for the city of San Francisco. We are also seeing interest for vacation travel and people booking trips for holiday periods later in the year. If you do plan to fly, you will see changes that tsa checkpoints. They are asking passengers to show their own ticket instead of handing it to the tsa agent. If an xray machine is triggered, the passenger will be asked to move the item to avoid cross contamination. Details on the study that joined together researchers in the u. S. And britain. He is only 16 years old, but rgn gauvin has already made a couple of short films. His recent one takes us through new york city on his bicycle. It was a chance to show the city in a different light. I talked to him about the film. I really just wanted to capture not just what the city looked like and what it felt like to be here during this time, which is something hard to recreate on film, but i tried my best to recreate the mood of what new york city was like during this time. Then, also, for me, the most interesting thing is seeing how different people are affected by it. I dont think i had one single intent. I just wanted to see how different people, you know how it would touch them differently, and how different people react to it. What kind of reactions are you getting . I was totally shocked when some people told me they cried. It was not a reaction i thought it would have on people. For a new yorker to watch as it means one thing. I am sure for you to watch it, it means something completely different. For me, what i get out of it is having biked the street and saw what new york city was like. It was definitely a shock to me. I feel like it is still the same city it is just going through a phase right now. Already now, it is completely different than when i shot it, which was two or three weeks ago. The city is a completely different place now. I feel like the city is constantly changing. This was just a phase we are sort of going through. Such an incredibly well spoken and thoughtful young man. He says well he is not sure what his next project is going film. He may make a film documenting that as well. A new Smart Phone App could help track the spread of the coronavirus in real time. Scientists in the United States teamed up to create the app following the largest study of its kind. The app allows people to check off symptoms they are experiencing at the moment. Researchers at Harvard Medical School say it has proven to be remarkably effective in predicting coronavirus infections. We have been able to adopt the app in real time so as new symptoms are emerging as being associated with covid, we can add them quickly to the app. Symptoms are starting to rise in a given area, it can be an indicator that covid can be something emerging and we need to deploy more resources in terms of testing or medical capacity. A medical Research Team from Stanford University took part in the International Study to develop that new app. Northern california pastors say they appreciate the president labeling their work is essential.
