the highway 101. we do not know if alcohol or drugs are involved but quite possibly it could be because of the rainy and wet roadway. there was a bald tire as well. in emeryville traffic was backed up on's -- for several hours when a sedan spun out and hit a pickup truck. 1 passenger was killed, and 3 were taken to the hospital. traffic is up in the afternoon, but the rain continued making more traffic jams. we were warm -- warned last week that said it was going to be the second busiest travel day of the holiday season. sure enough, people are returning home from their thanksgiving holiday,
