Reporter pg e said on twitter today that no ones power will be turned off for the next few days over billing matters saying with temperatures this high, it simply just isnt safe to leave people without power. Now, finally its worth pointing out that many people in the bay area dont have air conditioning as was mentioned already. And for a lot of people in this neighborhood, they kind of thought maybe it was over. I mean, they know they live near Buffalo Bayou where they are releasing water from the reservoir but for a lot of these people they got home and maybe found their homes didnt have a lot of damage but because they have to do these controlled releases to prevent something worse from happening during the next rainstorm now their homes are getting more damages so theres this back and forth where people are maybe grateful that the homes seemed to be kind of spared compared to other places and now they find out they have a whole nother rough week, 15 days ahead of em.
