The company had already dropped operations of their driverless rides here in San Francisco. But now be rides are stopping everywhere. And one tech expert tells us the Company Needs to debug before getting back on the road. Just days after having the robotaxi permits revoked in california, crews pause its driverless operations nationwide. The Company Making the announcement on ax formally known as Twitter Thursday night saying the most important thing for us right now is to take steps to rebuild public trust. Its actually the right thing to do. They have to make sure that people feel safe and the car and outside the car. There have been a number of incidents involving cruise cars malfunctioning on San Francisco streets one recent case, the victim of a hit and run driver was run over trapped and then dragged by a cruise car. You start to see all the colors showing up in the north bay. Those are going to ramp up overnight. And then as we get to early on sunday morning, 30 40 mile an hour gusts across much of the north bay to the north bay hills. You could see gusts of 50, maybe even 60 miles an hour across the mountains. There. That will continue into sunday as well. So, yeah, its going to be a period right there from saturday into sunday afternoon. Weve got to really worry about those offshore winds to go along with that. The offshore winds often very dry. Theyre originally from the northeast and were going to see some of levels drop down all the way down into the Single Digits by sunday. So be very, very careful forecast models are keeping range of high fire danger into the bay area saturday night and into sunday, too. Lauren, thank you. The bay area pilot accused of trying to shut down the engines of Alaska Airlines jet midflight. Made his first appearance in federal court today. Joseph emerson faces one charge of interfering with a flight crew. His wife, an attorney, are speaking out today. This is the moment. Emerson was escorted off of that plane on sunday. He was off duty and was riding in the cockpit at the time of the incident. Federal Court Documents reveal emerson told the pilots im not ok before reaching up and grabbing the red fire handles and pulling them down. But he was stopped by the pilots and escorted to the back of the aircraft. Court documents reveal a Flight Attendant says he later turned toward an emergency exit door trying to grab the handle but was stopped. Another Flight Attendant heard him say i messed everything up and that he tried to kill everybody. Now, despite those statements, his attorney told reporters there was no intention to harm himself or other people. His wife saying this is not my joe, that its not the man i married. A woman and her husband are suing a Bay Area Hotel claiming an employee there, serve bottle of water with a bodily fluid. For Sarah Stinson has obtained Court Documents explaining what happened. People pay hundreds of dollars to stay at the ritz carlton in Half Moon Bay. Now the Luxury Resort is facing a lawsuit from 2 of its loyal customers who say they were sexually assaulted by a staff member here. During sunset at the ritz carlton in Half Moon Bay guests can be seen enjoying the property in coastal views. A husband and wife state here one night last november for a restful weekend to celebrate her birthday. But their stay is now being described as causing horror and trauma. Court documents filed this month identified the couple as jane and john doe stating jane drink seem in contaminated water from a water bottle served by ritz carlton staffer. The lawsuit claims once she realized what she ingested, they contacted Hotel Management and filed a report with the San Mateo County sheriffs office. Court documents say the ritz carlton later sent a water bottle to a laboratory for testing and results confirmed it contains seaman in january. However, they say the hotel allegedly refused to provide a copy of the Lab Test Results to the does so they could share them with their medical providers. See some very cold temperatures there in the bay area. Again, its going to be a chilly night. Another cold, one in santa rosa. 35 degrees. Maybe even a couple of patches of frost. Its some of the valleys in and around the santa rosa. 38 in nevada. 39 degrees in napa and about 40 in livermore. Temperatures out the door right now. Start to cool off. You start to see the models becomes a blue on the mountains that you own temperatures in the 40s and then in the north bay. Now already seeing the some of those numbers moving down low 40s. So its getting cold in spots out there now going to be a lot colder overnight tonight and are nice clear skies. Couple high clouds off the coastline. Well see a few high clouds pass overhead as we head throughout the day tomorrow when theres a weak cold front thats going to slide a little bit closer. But most that energy staying off the coast and then were going to be talking about the offshore wind for the weekend and the high fire danger. Alright, running in the 50s and the 60s for San Francisco. So a little bit cool in the San Francisco coast side to feel that breeze to in the numbers in the 50s and low 60s inside the bay. Little more wind sheltered in the temperatures going to warm up a few more degrees. 64 degrees in redwood city about 65 amount to the south bay. Join temperatures in the mid to upper 60s so comfortable day in the south bay. All these numbers running about 5, maybe 10 degrees below the average for this time of year, but still fairly comfortable. 66 degrees moraga 68 in concord in the north bay, not seeing those strong winds just yet, but as we get into saturday afternoon, thats things really start ramping up. So, yeah, get prepared as were going to see some windy conditions over the weekend. A pretty gusty as we head in towards saturday night and into early on sunday morning. Thats when the fire danger going to be elevated throughout the weekend. So be extra careful out there. Winds calm down as we head in toward monday. Right now, halloween still looks like it will be safe for trick or treaters. Partly cloudy skies dry conditions out there and fairly mild temperatures as you head out the evening like we havent had like a whole week of just 70 is in a while.
