Also in the east bay, the state has given Alameda County the green light to resume Outdoor Dining Outdoor Dining began in Alameda County back on june 19th but was suspended by the state last friday. Health Officials Say the county had not received a waiver to proceed. But the on again off again nature of the state order and the rapid spread of covid19 making it really tough for Restaurant Owners to stay afloat. A lot of us have hired back stafon put a lot of money into the Outdoor Dining and just kind of getting up to capacity to to be able to handle that takes it takes money to prop this is day to day so were all nervous about. I was going happen tomorrow. You know the peace that comes does it will be one if we ever get back to normal. Well in addition to Outdoor Dining the states waiver also allows the oakland zoo to open again for Outdoor Activities Indoor Church Services and malls though remain off limits. Still ahead on the kron 00 04am morning news, good news for families who wish to visit their relatives in longterm care facilities. Well have details on the new health order that eases restrictions plus which east bay county is now considering issuing citations to businesses that are not complying with Current Health orders, the fines that they may face and after the break San Francisco sees a spike in coronavirus cases an increase in testing to man the problem the city is now facing a look outside your door at a very busy san mateo bridge traffic already crowded here on west 92 rolling out of hayward but no big trouble spots for crashes well be welcome back everyone, the time is 5. 13 good morning and thanks for waking up with us, lets get an update on the forecast we need to see how a thursday and the weekend is shaping up a days far good morning. Robin there good morning, everybody and were dealing with fog again this morning, although its not as a parent at sfo here look to clean the shot is in terms of seeing all the lights lit up there are no reports of delays going on this morning temperatures. When the upper 50s up to the north bay 61. Oakland, 60 per hayward 61 for antioch and 58 livermore concord checks in at 59 at this hour, however, this fog will be around for a while now are probably hits its peak in the next 2 hours or so, but even as late as 11 oclock still problem areas to the coast here a little bit and places like southern ran up the point re i think youre looking at probably turning more of a mostly cloudy kind of overcast situation even into the afternoon. Thats one type of moisture. Another type of moisture is the monsoon not a big player from our perspective this go around. But some of thats going to make it up to the sierra looks like and that will be enough moisture to spark off. A little afternoon shower or thundershower now this is the low level moisture we deal with in the Morning Hours, mixing out boom they time afternoon there we have it. This happens a lot of the summer months anywhere when theres that moisture flowing around but we actually do it again a touch although less impressively so on friday, very small as you can see not great Coverage Area and it really dissipates quickly after sunset for today. Were talking morning fog scattered clouds a little bit will keep in their warm conditions depends on really were you war with all this. Tomorrow repeat all of that as well were brushing 90 or so today and tomorrow, but we really get into it in this weekend it looks like well see not only more 90s but lower to middle 90s and those well inland locations in the Contra Costa County the solano counties, particularly and then we back off again into next week. So its kind of a heat pump here not a major spike its not for a long lasting either 66 San Francisco keep the fall clouds around for a little while 72 for oakland as well with some scattered clouds mentioning, 84 mostly sunny san jose across the wider real estate here up to 90 or so in iraq today, its one of the few 90s we see on the board today, 87 conquered 88 for livermore and 81 for santa rosa coming up a little bit here of course well have that 4 zone forecast, check and bay area traffic and bridges robin was going on its good its quiet. Its hot spot free. We havent had any problems heading into San Francisco. Ive notice that the traffic is definitely picking up so yeah we have more folks rolling in but we dont have any problem so now is your time yesterday was just nice all morning. We didnt have any problems or major delays. All right, lets take a peek at 92, this is a trip across the san mateo bridge. It started off slow in the 4 oclock hour and its still slow so its all just west of the toll plazas where you have the crowding so its not the whole bridge thats going to be this crowded but a high rise well get some really foster city is doing just fine and then no issues connecting to the peninsula will check more coming up a little bit later party. Ok robin well as San Francisco sees a spike in coronavirus cases. Theres also a dramatic increase in the number of people who want to get tested. For instance at the embarcadero testing site the next appointment you can get is 9 days from now. Its the same situation at the testing site in the summer area, the testing delay is also contributing to a problem with Contact Tracing in San Francisco. The city says when someone gets the virus. Its struggling to figure out all the people who may have been exposed by that person. And on the peninsula new health order in San Mateo County will now allow family members to visit their loved ones in longterm care facilities. It will allow family and friends to have outdoor meetings with people in Nursing Homes and longterm care facilities as long as that facility will follow Certain Health restrictions. The new order will also allow what theyre calling indoor Compassionate Care visits. Thats where family members can take care of Urgent Health and legal issues which include end of life is its. Well trying to get businesses to voluntarily comply with covid19 health order remains a difficult task for law makers in Contra Costa County. Kron fours Haaziq Madyun reports county leaders are now thinking about issuing citations. Not complying with the Contra Costa County health odor may soon have you reaching in your wallet to pay a fine if he could be sort of the kremlin writing parking parking ticket, you know i ration 100 ticket that might get him to have some businesses that are not really part of the whole order contra costa supervisor Candice Anderson says the board is now considering creating an administrative ordinance making it an infraction to not comply with the health order because she says some businesses just wont do it some of them are minor issues where perhaps they have their tables a little bit closer than they should for Outdoor Dining but others are businesses tha
