in the east bay .. a business exchange took a violent turn. police say a man was trying to sell a cell phone in san leandro ... when he was shot dead.the suspect still on the loose this kron 4's camila bernal is live in san leandro with more. camila? police are looking for the person who shot and killed a man trying to sell a cell phone in the east bay. this killing happened around 1:15 yesterday afternoon on east 14th street and 159 th avenue-- near the bayfair center-- in san leandro. when officers arrived-- they found the man with a gunshot wound. the man was pronounced dead at the scene. police say the suspect drove away from the shooting. police have not released any other information about the suspect. thanks camila. we will check back with you through out the morning. ( marty )(boxes)in our other top story this morning ... we have the latest on a suspected d-u-i crash in sonama that killed a mother and daughter. the best friend of the mother is speaking out after the seven-year-old girl involved in the crash passed away on friday ... three days after her mom. kron four's spencer blake reports. in front of this salon in sonoma, former co-workers and clients of estefania soto have left dozens of momentos.among them are photos of her and her daughter kaliyah."they both had very vibrant personalities. bubbly. their presence was very known in any room they walked into."sierra sweeden has been estefania's best friend since kindergarten - more than 20 years.she and her family are still processing what happened tuesday morning on highway 12. police say jsoe lopez-perez was driving under the influence when he crossed over the yellow line and crashed head-on into soto's car.soto died in the wreck, and seven-year-old kaliyah passed on friday."she was pretty much like my sister. my mom was a big part of her life as well. she grew up coming to my house and vice-versa. spent holidays with us."sweeden says both estefania and kaliyah loved to dance - both jokingly and as a stress relief.estefania also loved to sing.she worked six days a week at two different salons, and sweeden says she could give the best eyebrow wax in town. kaliyah, who called sweeden 'auntie,' was really into the outdoors, the beach, and swimming."she called me auntie. she was like my niece."sweeden set up one of the multiple fundraisers online for the family, which together have raised 16 thousand dollars."i think that's the only comfort that anyone can really find in losing a seven-year-old, is that her mom was there to welcome her with open arms." despite the tragedy, it's easy to imagine the two of them now sharing a contagious laugh together. ( marty )in the north bay ... an inmate turned himself in ... after escaping from a corrections camp in solano county.officials say 27- year-old rashad vaca was discovered missing during the inmate count at the delta conservation camp last night. he turned himself in this morning into the vacaville police department. vaca was serving a 12-year sentence for second-degree robbery with a firearm and was scheduled for parole in 2020. ( marty )a driver lost control and went off the road... killing the passenger in the front seat in sonoma county. it happened yesterday morning at a construction site near san antonio creek, off highway 101. the c-h-p says the person was driving in a blocked off section. the car got caught on a steel bar. the driver and the person sitting in the back seat were injured during the fall ( marty )also in the north bay ... petaluma police arrested a 15-year-old boy for robbing a convenience store. authorities say the teen took alcohol, cigarretes, and lottery tickets... totalling more than a thousand dollars. it happened yesterday morning at the lucky's on petaluma boulevard north.a witness called police after seeing suspicious activity when the officers arrived they found the boy in the parking lot.he was booked into juvenile hall. ( marty )a warning this morning ... if you bought fresh salad at trader joe's. three popular pre-packaged salads have been recalled because pieces of glass and hard plastic were found in them. they are the white meat chicken salad, curried white chicken deli salad, and turkey cranberry apple salad ... with the "best use by" dates from november 10th through november eleventh. trader joe's has since removed and destroyed all the affected products from store shelves.if you purchased any of these fresh salads with the affected codes-- you should throw it away immediately or return it to any trader joe's for a full refund. as of right now there are no reports of any one getting sick or ( marty ) thanksgiving is just around the corner and people are giving back to those in need. kron-4's jeff pierce reports on a church group from el sobrate offers a thanksgiving meal every year to everyone in their community. everyday is a day of thanksgiving. that is what the folks at the hilltop church of christ in el sobrante call the weekend before the holiday when they prepare thousands of meals for people in their community. they have been holding the event for fourteen years. it becomes a more grand event every year and we are dedicated to do it. we work on average about fifteen hours a day leading up to it weeks before the event and we have to because we prepare about three thousand meals for people. the event has grown to give bags of groceries to prepare thanksgiving meals along with other gifts for those attending. we're also doing to go dinners, thanksgiving dinners to for seniors and people that we know are ill and disabled and are unable to get up and join us today. and it has expanded every year to clothing. there are items out there for children for women who need clothes for work. every day is a day of thanksgiving takes a whole year of preperation. when we end today we start planning for next year. we will start with donations from the community to support the meals for next year so it starts when we end at three. each passing year finds the need to be greater. you know there is a lot of stress in the united states right now. there's a lot of stress in our surrounding communities yet we have hope and we have joy and we want to share that. it is a hope and joy that is shared by both those attending and the dozens of volunteers that make the event a success. there's a lot of people out there like me that need to have a decent meal. i really enjoy coming together with a bunch of people i've never met before. get into the spirit of things, make other people feel good and happy, it's the thing to do now. we're doing something good something that helps put a smile on their face. it's hard not to smile when we're all coming together as a community to help one another. we're inspired to say that every day is a day of thanksgiving and we hope that everyone will have hope and joy. in el sobrante jeff pierce kron four news. ( marty ) many california lawmakers have been criticizing federal disaster aid funding. they say the north bay is feeling left behind in the wake of the wildfires. reporter karma dickerson has more. thereús hardly a face that walks into the loma rica pizza round-up that kim hobbs doesnút know."i really donút see a change in faces, i just see more faces," hobbs said. after being shuttered for a week during the cascade fire, hobbs said the business has been busier than ever.to say the flames got too close to home is an understatement."it was devastating just driving up loma rica road," hobbs told fox40.right next door to the pizza parlor, hobbs' mom's property burned to the ground. they showed fox40 the aftermath last month. since then, hobbs said, "it's been pretty easy going."hobbs says her mother has already received a check from fema, the only disaster assistance they were seeking. the trump administration asked congress to approve a $44 billion supplemental aid package for disaster relief. none of that $44 million was earmarked for california wildfire recovery efforts, drawing sharp criticism from californiaús senators.california has requested $7 billion in federal aid, but for now at least hobbs says she has what she needs."iúd give it an 'a,'" she said. ( marty )4 your money this morning ... honda is recalling nearly 900-thousand of its odyssey minivans because the second-row seats may tip forward.the recall covers vehicles from the 20-11 ... to 20-17 model years. about 800-thousand of the affected minivans were sold in the united states. the odyssey's second-row seat may tip forward during modrate to heavy braking ... if it isn't properly latched. honda says it has received 46 reports of minor injuries related to the issue. the company is currently working on a fix. ( marty )we want to introduce you to a kron 4 hero. a u-s postal worker was recently honored for risking his life to save a fellow employee in oakland ... who was shot while she was making her rounds... it happened back in july... the female letter carrier ...michal stafford had been on the job for only about three months when she was caught in a cross-fire.she was not the target ... but she was shot in the hip. farid ait djebara was delivering mail on a nearby street when he heard the gunshots. he immediately drove over to see if he could help. marty ) the u-s-p-s says his quick response helped first responders lock down the scene and give immediate medical attention to the victim. she was released from the hospital shortly after the shooting. ( marty ) in the north bay ... an inmate turned himself in ... after escaping from a corrections camp in solano county. officials say 27-year-old rashad vaca was discovered missing during the inmate count at the delta conservation camp last night. he turned himself in this morning into the vacaville police department. vaca was serving a 12-year sentence for second-degree robbery with a firearm and was scheduled for parole in 2020. ( marty )a driver lost control and went off the road... killing the passenger in the front seat in sonoma county. it happened yesterday morning at a construction site near san antonio creek, off highway 101. the c-h-p says the person was driving in a blocked off section. the car got caught on a steel bar. the driver and the person sitting in the back seat were injured during the fall ( marty )also in the north bay ... petaluma police arrested a 15-year-old boy for robbing a convenience store. authorities say the teen took alcohol, cigarretes, and lottery tickets... totalling more than a thousand dollars. it happened yesterday morning at the lucky's on petaluma boulevard north.a witness called police after seeing suspicious activity when the officers arrived they found the boy in the parking lot.he was booked into juvenile hall. ( marty )a warning this morning ... if you bought fresh salad at trader joe's. three popular pre-packaged salads have been recalled because pieces of glass and hard plastic were found in them. they are the white meat chicken salad, curried white chicken deli salad, and turkey cranberry apple salad ... with the "best use by" dates from november 10th through november eleventh. trader joe's has since removed and destroyed all the affected products from store shelves.if you purchased any of these fresh salads with the affected codes-- you should throw it away immediately or return it to any trader joe's for a full refund. as of right now there are no reports of any one getting sick or injured.. ( marty ) thanksgiving is just around the corner and people are giving back to those in need. kron-4's jeff pierce reports on a church group from el sobrate offers a thanksgiving meal every year to everyone in their community. everyday is a day of thanksgiving. that is what the folks at the hilltop church of christ in el sobrante call the weekend before the holiday when they prepare thousands of meals for people in their community. they have been holding the event for fourteen years. it becomes a more grand event every year and we are dedicated to do it. we work on average about fifteen hours a day leading up to it weeks before the event and we have to because we prepare about three thousand meals for people. the event has grown to give bags of groceries to prepare thanksgiving meals along with other gifts for those attending. we're also doing to go dinners, thanksgiving dinners to for seniors and people that we know are ill and disabled and are unable to get up and join us today. and it has expanded every year to clothing. there are items out there for children for women who need clothes for work. every day is a day of thanksgiving takes a whole year of preperation. when we end today we start planning for next year. we will start with donations from the community to support the meals for next year so it starts when we end at three. each passing year finds the need to be greater. you know there is a lot of stress in the united states right now. there's a lot of stress in our surrounding communities yet we have hope and we have joy and we want to share that. it is a hope and joy that is shared by both those attending and the dozens of volunteers that make the event a success. there's a lot of people out there like me that need to have a decent meal. i really enjoy coming together with a bunch of people i've never met before. get into the spirit of things, make other people feel good and happy, it's the thing to do now. we're doing something good something that helps put a smile on their face. it's hard not to smile when we're all coming together as a community to help one another. we're inspired to say that every day is a day of thanksgiving and we hope that everyone will have hope and joy. in el sobrante jeff pierce kron four news. ( marty )a driver lost control and went off the road... killing the passenger in the front seat in sonoma county. it happened yesterday morning at a construction site near san antonio creek, off highway 101. the c-h-p says the person was driving in a blocked off section. the car got caught on a steel bar. the driver and the person sitting in the back seat were injured during the fall ( marty )also in the north bay ... petaluma police arrested a 15-year-old boy for robbing a convenience store. authorities say the teen took alcohol, cigarretes, and lottery tickets... totalling more than a thousand dollars. it happened yesterday morning at the lucky's on petaluma boulevard north.a witness called police after seeing suspicious activity when the officers arrived they found the boy in the parking lot.he was booked into juvenile hall. ( marty )a warning this morning ... if you bought fresh salad at trader joe's. three popular pre-packaged salads have been recalled because pieces of glass and hard plastic were found in them. they are the white meat chicken salad, curried white chicken deli salad, and turkey cranberry apple salad ... with the "best use by" dates from november 10th through november eleventh. trader joe's has since removed and destroyed all the affected products from store shelves.if you purchased any of these fresh salads with the affected codes-- you should throw it away immediately or return it to any trader joe's for a full refund. as of right now there are no reports of any one getting sick or injured.. ( marty ) thanksgiving is just around the corner and people are giving back to those in need. kron-4's jeff pierce reports on a church group from el sobrate offers a thanksgiving meal every year to everyone in their community. everyday is a day of thanksgiving. that is what the folks at the hilltop church of christ in el sobrante call the weekend before the holiday when they prepare thousands of meals for people in their community. they have been holding the event for fourteen years. it becomes a more grand event every year and we are dedicated to do it. we work on average about fifteen hours a day leading up to it weeks before the event and we have to because we prepare about three thousand meals for people. the event has grown to give bags of groceries to prepare thanksgiving meals along with other gifts for those attending. we're also doing to go dinners, thanksgiving dinners to for seniors and people that we know are ill and disabled and are unable to get up and join us today. and it has expanded every year to clothing. there are items out there for children for women who need clothes for work. every day is a day of thanksgiving takes a whole year of preperation. when we end today we start planning for next year. we will start with donations from the community to support the meals for next year so it starts when we end at three. each passing year finds the need to be greater. you know there is a lot of stress in the united states right now. there's a lot of stress in our surrounding communities yet we have hope and we have joy and we want to share that. it is a hope and joy that is shared by both those attending and the dozens of volunteers that make the event a success. there's a lot of people out there like me that need to have a decent meal. i really enjoy coming together with a bunch of people i've never met before. get into the spirit of things, make other people feel good and happy, it's the thing to do now. we're doing something good something that helps put a smile on their face. it's hard not to smile when we're all coming together as a community to help one another. we're inspired to say that every day is a day of thanksgiving and we hope that everyone will have hope and joy. in el sobrante jeff pierce kron four news. ( marty )4 your money this morning ... honda is recalling nearly 900-thousand of its odyssey minivans because the second-row seats may tip forward.the recall covers vehicles from the 20-11 ... to 20-17 model years. about 800-thousand of the affected minivans were sold in the united states. the odyssey's second-row seat may tip forward during modrate to heavy braking ... if it isn't properly latched. honda says it has received 46 reports of minor injuries related to the issue. the company is currently working on a fix. in the east bay .. a business exchange took a violent turn. police say a man was trying to sell a cell phone in san leandro ... when he was shot dead.the suspect still on the loose this kron 4's camila bernal is live in san leandro with more. camila? police are looking for the person who shot and killed a man trying to sell a cell phone in the east bay. this killing happened around 1:15 yesterday afternoon on east 14th street and 159 th avenue-- near the bayfair center-- in san leandro. when officers arrived-- they found the man with a gunshot wound. the man was pronounced dead at the scene. police say the suspect drove away from the shooting. police have not released any other information about the suspect. thanks camila. we will check back with you through out the morning. ( marty )(boxes)in our other top story this morning ... we have the latest on a suspected d-u-i crash in sonama that killed a mother and daughter. the best friend of the mother is speaking out after the seven-year-old girl involved in the crash passed away on friday ... three days after her mom. kron four's spencer blake reports. in front of this salon in sonoma, former co-workers and clients of estefania soto have left dozens of momentos.among them are photos of her and her daughter kaliyah."they both had very vibrant personalities. bubbly. their presence was very known in any room they walked into."sierra sweeden has been estefania's best friend since kindergarten - more than 20 years.she and her family are still processing what happened tuesday morning on highway 12. police say jsoe lopez-perez was driving under the influence when he crossed over the yellow line and crashed head-on into soto's car.soto died in the wreck, and seven-year-old kaliyah passed on friday."she was pretty much like my sister. my mom was a big part of her life as well. she grew up coming to my house and vice-versa. spent holidays with us."sweeden says both estefania and kaliyah loved to dance - both jokingly and as a stress relief.estefania also loved to sing.she worked six days a week at two different salons, and sweeden says she could give the best eyebrow wax in town. kaliyah, who called sweeden 'auntie,' was really into the outdoors, the beach, and swimming."she called me auntie. she was like my niece."sweeden set up one of the multiple fundraisers online for the family, which together have raised 16 thousand dollars."i think that's the only comfort that anyone can really find in losing a seven-year-old, is that her mom was there to welcome her with open arms." despite the tragedy, it's easy to imagine the two of them now sharing a contagious laugh together. ( marty ) moving on to the south bay ... fire investigators are trying to find the cause of an apartment fire that killed three members of the same family in san jose. the fire happened yesterday ... and as kron 4's justine waldman reports ... another family member is in critical condition this morning. 53:54 someone yelling says fire, fire, firefirst responders tried to save the victims on the front yard.. .by performing chest compressions. the fire department tell us a family of 4 was trapped inside the burning apartment building on 9th and reed streets.it was their panicked screams that woke up neighbors just before 5 in the morning. 54:04 it's a huge, huge fire already so we start knocking on the first floor of the apartment we woke them up and we got them outthe fire killed three people. according to the medical examiner's office, the victims are a 14-year-old girl, a 21-year-old man and 48- year-old woman.58:13 beautiful vietnamese family very nice always cooking i just could see them right on their porch always remember bring their grocery because they live on the second floor and always saying hellothe rest of the building was evacuated and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.new !! 2:30 in raw sot josh padron / san jose fire department"we currently have our arson investigators on scene for fire cause and origin of this incident."57:11 this is just a really, really devastating moment for everyone here in the neighborhood ( marty )the roads and airports are about to get a lot more crowded. coming up, we have travel tips that will make you and speaking of travel, one east bay community is overjoyed about a re=opened road. and for your health, it's still not too late to get a flu shot. that story is after the break. 4 your health this morning ... with the colder weather comes the increased risk of contracting the flu. but doctors say its not too late to protect youself. the flu usually becomes more widespread around christmas... and continues through march. doctors say early indications suggest the vaccine is a good match for the flu strains that are circulating this season ... and that now is a great time to get the flu shot. ( marty )a warning this morning ... if you bought fresh salad at trader joe's. three popular pre-packaged salads have been recalled because pieces of glass and hard plastic were found in them. they are the white meat chicken salad, curried white chicken deli salad, and turkey cranberry apple salad ... with the "best use by" dates from november 10th through november eleventh. trader joe's has since removed and destroyed all the affected products from store shelves.if you purchased any of these fresh salads with the affected codes-- you should throw it away immediately or return it to any trader joe's for a full refund. as of right now there are no reports of any one getting sick or ( marty ) thanksgiving is just around the corner and people are giving back to those in need. kron-4's jeff pierce reports on a church group from el sobrate offers a thanksgiving meal every year to everyone in their community. everyday is a day of thanksgiving. that is what the folks at the hilltop church of christ in el sobrante call the weekend before the holiday when they prepare thousands of meals for people in their community. they have been holding the event for fourteen years. it becomes a more grand event every year and we are dedicated to do it. we work on average about fifteen hours a day leading up to it weeks before the event and we have to because we prepare about three thousand meals for people. the event has grown to give bags of groceries to prepare thanksgiving meals along with other gifts for those attending. we're also doing to go dinners, thanksgiving dinners to for seniors and people that we know are ill and disabled and are unable to get up and join us today. and it has expanded every year to clothing. there are items out there for children for women who need clothes for work. every day is a day of thanksgiving takes a whole year of preperation. when we end today we start planning for next year. we will start with donations from the community to support the meals for next year so it starts when we end at three. each passing year finds the need to be greater. you know there is a lot of stress in the united states right now. there's a lot of stress in our surrounding communities yet we have hope and we have joy and we want to share that. it is a hope and joy that is shared by both those attending and the dozens of volunteers that make the event a success. there's a lot of people out there like me that need to have a decent meal. i really enjoy coming together with a bunch of people i've never met before. get into the spirit of things, make other people feel good and happy, it's the thing to do now. we're doing something good something that helps put a smile on their face. it's hard not to smile when we're all coming together as a community to help one another. we're inspired to say that every day is a day of thanksgiving and we hope that everyone will have hope and joy. in el sobrante jeff pierce kron four news. ( marty ) thanksgiving is just around the corner and people are giving back to those in need. kron-4's jeff pierce reports on a church group from el sobrate offers a thanksgiving meal every year to everyone in their community. everyday is a day of thanksgiving. that is what the folks at the hilltop church of christ in el sobrante call the weekend before the holiday when they prepare thousands of meals for people in their community. they have been holding the event for fourteen years. it becomes a more grand event every year and we are dedicated to do it. we work on average about fifteen hours a day leading up to it weeks before the event and we have to because we prepare about three thousand meals for people. the event has grown to give bags of groceries to prepare thanksgiving meals along with other gifts for those attending. we're also doing to go dinners, thanksgiving dinners to for seniors and people that we know are ill and disabled and are unable to get up and join us today. and it has expanded every year to clothing. there are items out there for children for women who need clothes for work. every day is a day of thanksgiving takes a whole year of preperation. when we end today we start planning for next year. we will start with donations from the community to support the meals for next year so it starts when we end at three. each passing year finds the need to be greater. you know there is a lot of stress in the united states right now. there's a lot of stress in our surrounding communities yet we have hope and we have joy and we want to share that. it is a hope and joy that is shared by both those attending and the dozens of volunteers that make the event a success. there's a lot of people out there like me that need to have a decent meal. i really enjoy coming together with a bunch of people i've never met before. get into the spirit of things, make other people feel good and happy, it's the thing to do now. we're doing something good something that helps put a smile on their face. it's hard not to smile when we're all coming together as a community to help one another. we're inspired to say that every day is a day of thanksgiving and we hope that everyone will have hope and joy. in el sobrante jeff pierce kron four news. ( marty )4 your money this morning ... honda is recalling nearly 900-thousand of its odyssey minivans because the second-row seats may tip forward.the recall covers vehicles from the 20-11 ... to 20-17 model years. about 800-thousand of the affected minivans were sold in the united states. the odyssey's second-row seat may tip forward during modrate to heavy braking ... if it isn't properly latched. honda says it has received 46 reports of minor injuries related to the issue. the company is currently working on a fix. ( marty )(boxes)in our other top story this morning ... we have the latest on a suspected d-u-i crash in sonama that killed a mother and daughter. the best friend of the mother is speaking out after the seven-year-old girl involved in the crash passed away on friday ... three days after her mom. kron four's spencer blake has the story. in front of this salon in sonoma, former co-workers and clients of estefania soto have left dozens of momentos.among them are photos of her and her daughter kaliyah."they both had very vibrant personalities. bubbly. their presence was very known in any room they walked into."sierra sweeden has been estefania's best friend since kindergarten - more than 20 years.she and her family are still processing what happened tuesday morning on highway 12. police say jsoe lopez-perez was driving under the influence when he crossed over the yellow line and crashed head-on into soto's car.soto died in the wreck, and seven-year-old kaliyah passed on friday."she was pretty much like my sister. my mom was a big part of her life as well. she grew up coming to my house and vice-versa. spent holidays with us."sweeden says both estefania and kaliyah loved to dance - both jokingly and as a stress relief.estefania also loved to sing.she worked six days a week at two different salons, and sweeden says she could give the best eyebrow wax in town. kaliyah, who called sweeden 'auntie,' was really into the outdoors, the beach, and swimming."she called me auntie. she was like my niece."sweeden set up one of the multiple fundraisers online for the family, which together have raised 16 thousand dollars."i think that's the only comfort that anyone can really find in losing a seven-year-old, is that her mom was there to welcome her with open arms." despite the tragedy, it's easy to imagine the two of them now sharing a contagious laugh together. ( marty ) in the north bay ... an inmate turned himself in ... after escaping from a corrections camp in solano county. officials say 27-year-old rashad vaca was discovered missing during the inmate count at the delta conservation camp last night. he turned himself in this morning into the vacaville police department. vaca was serving a 12-year sentence for second-degree robbery with a firearm and was scheduled for parole in 2020. ( marty )a driver lost control and went off the road... killing the passenger in the front seat in sonoma county. it happened yesterday morning at a construction site near san antonio creek, off highway 101. the c-h-p says the person was driving in a blocked off section. the car got caught on a steel bar. the driver and the person sitting in the back seat were injured during the fall ( marty )also in the north bay ... petaluma police arrested a 15-year-old boy for robbing a convenience store. authorities say the teen took alcohol, cigarretes, and lottery tickets... totalling more than a thousand dollars. it happened yesterday morning at the lucky's on petaluma boulevard north.a witness called police after seeing suspicious activity when the officers arrived they found the boy in the parking lot.he was booked into juvenile hall. ( marty ) many california lawmakers have been criticizing federal disaster aid funding. they say the north bay is feeling left behind in the wake of the wildfires. reporter karma dickerson has more. thereús hardly a face that walks into the loma rica pizza round-up that kim hobbs doesnút know."i really donút see a change in faces, i just see more faces," hobbs said. after being shuttered for a week during the cascade fire, hobbs said the business has been busier than ever.to say the flames got too close to home is an understatement."it was devastating just driving up loma rica road," hobbs told fox40.right next door to the pizza parlor, hobbs' mom's property burned to the ground. they showed fox40 the aftermath last month. since then, hobbs said, "it's been pretty easy going."hobbs says her mother has already received a check from fema, the only disaster assistance they were seeking. the trump administration asked congress to approve a $44 billion supplemental aid package for disaster relief. none of that $44 million was earmarked for california wildfire recovery efforts, drawing sharp criticism from californiaús senators.california has requested $7 billion in federal aid, but for now at least hobbs says she has what she needs."iúd give it an 'a,'" she said. ( marty ) the private cleanup applications for the north bay firestorms are due on wednesday. santa rosa and sonoma county residents... who lost their home in the north bay fires... must submit their forms and wait for the city or county to approve their application. officials say those who don't want to participate in the goverment-funded program are required to remove all the debris from their home at their own expense. ( marty )4 your money this morning ... honda is recalling nearly 900-thousand of its odyssey minivans because the second-row seats may tip forward.the recall covers vehicles from the 20-11 ... to 20-17 model years. about 800-thousand of the affected minivans were sold in the united states. the odyssey's second-row seat may tip forward during modrate to heavy braking ... if it isn't properly latched. honda says it has received 46 reports of minor injuries related to the issue. the company is currently working on a fix. ( marty )we want to introduce you to a kron 4 hero. a u-s postal worker was recently honored for risking his life to save a fellow employee in oakland ... who was shot while she was making her rounds... it happened back in july... the female letter carrier ...michal stafford had been on the job for only about three months when she was caught in a cross-fire.she was not the target ... but she was shot in the hip. farid ait djebara was delivering mail on a nearby street when he heard the gunshots. he immediately drove over to see if he could help. michael, are you okay? don't worry about it don't worry about and she heard me. i saw her leaning on the steering wheel and i immediately called 911. as a postal worker we are one family, whatever hearts me hurts my coworkers. they said papa you're a hero, papa you're a hero. they are very proud of me of course.">( marty ) the u-s-p-s says his quick response helped first responders lock down the scene and give immediate medical attention to the victim. she was released from the hospital shortly after the shooting.
