board planes back in april and may. she was then arrested for causing a disturbance on a flight at midway airport in chicago before she was arrested again on saturday. heartman -- hartman is arrested cloudy conditions for the valley and one for the east bay shore line and we reach the daytime highs. we are not going to get that hot with the temperatures and with the inland valley. and overall. we killed at pier 14 in san francisco say they are focus on healing. instead of the fact the man accused in the shooting has been deported five times. kate stinely's father says he is hoping for justice in the case against franciso sanchez. police arrested sanchez about an hour after wednesday's random shooting. officials say sanchez has 7 felony convictions and he's been deported five times. kate's employer medtronic released the statement saturday regarding the death saying "we are saddened and shocked by the senseless act. our thoughts and condolences are with kate's family and friend. are back with big news this morning the woman known as serial stow away is back at it again. she has been arrested twice over the past two days. and yesterday, police took her into custody at midway airport in chicago. after they say she tried to get through security without a valid ticket. today the day before she did the same thing and she did have a valid ticket for flight but was taken off the plane for causing a disturbance. she was just released from jail this week for attempts to board planes without a ticket earlier this year. in the past she tried numerous times to sneak onto see the cloud cover here patchy fog early morning hours. and then as i mentioned the wind speeds will pick up a tad bit a little breezy later this afternoon. 5 miles per hour from oakland and 17 out in concord and 4 miles per hour in san francisco currently. your fog tracker and the cloud cover widespread clouds for concord oakland and livermore and hayward high cloud later this afternoon. progressing as you see mostly cloud cover pushes off the coastline oakland hay wad getting scattered clowrs and santa rosa. but we will have sunshine most of the sunshine will be in the inland valleys locations like livermore and brentwood and antioch and the south bay will get that as well. so temperatures because of the cloud cover will stay pretty much opt warm side for inland -- on the warm side for inland valley and cooler for san francisco and pis nine la. 65 out in richmond. so 7-day forecast looks like this. 88 tomorrow. 87 tuesday and slight cool down come wednesday. and then the 66 alameda and 76 out in union city and fremont about 79. south bay region much of sunshine here in the willy afternoon. 82 for millipeda and 76 in mountain view and moving to the north bay scattered clouds in place right now and that's going to stay for the rest of the day as well for san are a faye. el and novato at 85. 75 for sonoma. and peninsula cooler 20 degrees cooler than inland cities. 60 for ocean beach. 66 for san francisco. and 63 for daily city. 88 tomorrow and 87 tuesday and then we will cool down a little bit on wednesday at 83 for the inland valleys. 72 for the east bay shore reach the 90s when i return marty. >> thanks. as you probably know san francisco not the only city to put on an impressive fireworks display last night. let's go around the country and show you some of the best shots from around the u.s.a last night. on the left the fireworks that were shot off over the east river in new york. and then on the top right the fireworks exploding over the skyline in atlanta georgia. tens of thousands of people gathering at the national mall in washington, d.c. you see that on the lower right and you see the fireworks going off behind the washington monument. more national news for you this morning. before that fireworks display in washington started mother nature was not feeling very festive. as weather forced the evacuation of people from the west side of the u.s. capitol and the national mall. visitors were told to shelter at a nearby museum or at a metro station because of possible lightning in the area. but once the skies cleared, the capitol police reopened the area to the public. more bay area news for you this morning. 59-year-old consider -- a 9- year-old boy is recovering after being injured at a 4th of july parade. 11:30 yesterday morning the boy fell out of the bed of a flatbed truck in sausalito. he was run over by the tire of the a boat trailer. the boy had injuries to mid- section and leg and was taken to the hospital for treatment. no word on his condition this morning. and happening right now, three people still missing this morning after a deadly pontoon boat accident in kentucky. here's video from the scene last night in louisville. firefighters say two people were killed when the boat hit a bridge and then capsized into the ohio river. one of the three missing people believed to be missing this morning is a child. the city's fire chief says the river was simply moving too fast to send dive teams in and that left search crews with the search on the surface of the water. >> we were able to retrieve a total of 6 people from the water. two of which have sur coupled to their -- succumbed to their injuries and we have two fatalities and we have four other people transported to the hospital three to children's and one to university hospital. so so far we have found 6 total and two fatalities and four people that have been transported to the hospital. >> it's not clear this morning what caused the boat to capsize. several people on board were all members of the same family. a plane crashes on a crowded beach in southern california injuring a boy. it happened saturday afternoon at tamarac state beach in carld carlsbad near san diego. -- carls back near san diego. -- carlsbad in near. it flipped over after landing and the 23-year-old pilot was not injured in the accident. but a 12-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries to his head. and a series of shark attacks is also causing some issues for people in the southeast who are worried about going into the water. in north carolina alone, 7 people had been attacked by sharks over the past three weeks. now here's jennifer gray with the media partner cnn with the latest. >> reporter: new video out of florida shows a kayaker fishing for grouper and getting a bigger bite than he bargained for. a bull shark. the fant he canly swimming for -- frantically swimming for safety as others circled nearby. close encounters with sharks has beachgoers on alert especially on the east coast. >> we saw a 5-foot sand shark and it was within 8 feet of me. >> they are around us more and closer and moving around. >> reporter: at least 10 attacks in the carolinas since june. 7 in north carolina alone. that's one more than the yearly average for both states in the past month. >> a lot of people utilizing the beach and this time of year we have the migration of a lot of coastal species. >> reporter: experts say that along with shark migration a. buffet of nesting sea turtles and warmer saltier water could attract more sharks to the beach and in south carolina, a fisherman reeling in sharks from the the pier and in myrtle beach babies but mom is not far off. >> we have seen the bigger sharks and it's scarry. >> reporter: victims of the 10 recent bites range in age from 8 to 68. with two teens losing limbs after the encounters. >> any shark bites is pretty rare as a rare occurrence to have all the bites occurring recently is very unusual. >> reporter: unusual and unintentional. experts say humans are not target for sharks. and that these attacks are unfortunate accidents. >> when your hands and feet are flashing this looks like fish bellies to them they realize they made a mistake and spit us out again. >> reporter: still, those looking to soak up the sun here have mixed feelings about sharing the water. >> i would just try to put the shark thing out my mind so i wouldn't get scared and tried to enjoy it but i did be careful. >> reporter: the beachs will remain opened lifeguards on duty here saying sharks are not the biggest danger this weekend. >> i would be more concerned about driving down to the beach and getting in car wreck on way down here than i would be having an incident with the shark. >> that was cnn jennifer gray. >> reporter: ing. rip currents a big corn there this holiday weekend. and lifeguards up and down the east coast are increasing patrols going to two man duty. coming up... it's called hit they focus on problem traffic areas in alameda county. this time in the city of alameda. i will show you more in the next edition of people behaving badly. here stanley roberts who found some people behaving badly. >> reporter: allow me to hoe show you how difficults to cross the street in the city of alameda. the two ladies want to cross webster at eagle watch what happens. more than 20 drivers fail to yield and in a fully marked crosswalk. this is one of the moments where you wish you had someone with a ticket book around. actually, on this day, we did. except they were out having chats with other drivers. for together exact same -- doing the exact same thing not yielding to president in -- pedestrian in crosswalk many these pedestrian are sheriff explorers. and they are part of the hitt team. hitt stands for high impact traffic team. they target problem areas around alameda county using officers from multiple departments including the pedestrian and you didn't. >> yeah i was look this way and he caught them. >> reporter: so you saw them after you passed them by. >> yeah. >> reporter: you note rules for pedestrian. >> you have to yield. >> reporter: and he gets to out eater famous words. >> i got caught behaving badly. >> reporter: and 3.5 hours, 14 officers all around the city of alameda wrote get this, 168 tickets. mostly for the san francisco and daily city along the peninsula today's planner looks like this partly sunny conditions by noon. 82 for inland valleys. 71 east bay shoreline. gradual clearing in the clouds by 3 p.m. so we will see the sunshine for much of the bay area. 77 for the east bay. 87 for the east bay shoreline or inland valley i should say. cloud cover in place because of the marine layer. that's really the source of the clouds the foggy conditions in the morning and picking up the wind speeds. most of the heavy rain showers up in the pacific northwest. we are dealing with cloud cover here and a lot it. by 5 a.m., as i am telling you this progresses into the scattered clouds atmosphere and things the same story continues tomorrow. 5 a.m. tomorrow the same patchy fog along the coast. low clouds and then it will get a break in the clouds for thesunshine around 3 or 4 where we have the daytime heading -- heating. things won't be too hot in the inland valley. 84 for livermore driver who fled from motorcycle crash that left a palo alto man dead. that crash happened about 9:15 last night on northbound 880 south of highway 237 in malpitas. the 29-year-old -- milpitas. a
