>> it is possible there will be a partial verdict and highly unlikely the judge would refuse to accept the verdict of the jury with regard to the charges they have achieved a decision on . it is possible if they cannot reach a decision, the judge will get a verdict on eight. the government would have the option to retry if they wanted to but it is unlikely. >> we have had a three month trial and nearly 30 witnesses. how unusual is it the jury cannot reach a verdict right away?
