on this wednesday morning. it's january 31 , -- february 5 . you can see the temps in the 30s for many locations as we start off the day. in fact today this morning the warmest morning of the week so definitely bundle up as you head out the door for work in school. 39 right now in concord, oakland coming in at 43, 34 livermore and 36 san francisco. close to freezing right now at 33 degrees in santa rosa. as we head through the day seasonal temperatures and a little bit above average so upper 50s in san francisco. 60 in oakland, mid-60s in san jose and low 60s in concord. anywhere from one to 4 degrees above average for some spots. will talk about the rest of the week and a big warm-up in store for us coming up. let's take a look at the roadways right now. we are off to a fairly decent start overall on her bay area bridges. no delays at the bay bridge. a couple cars stacked up in the cash lanes but that typical this time of morning. yesterday we saw a backup at the bay bridge to roadwork and will keep in update -- right now traffic is still pretty quiet and taking a look at conditions as you work your way through oakland this morning there is a closure. the southbound 98 he ran to west on 580 is shut down. i'm anne makovec from the live news desk and we are going live to travis air force base in fairfield where plan landed full of people with people from wuhan which is the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in china. 350 people on board and it is the bar playing you're looking at there with the writing on it. i know it's difficult to see with the lack of light but at this point we saw people getting off of the plane and they have been evacuated from wuhan by the u.s. state department. many of them diplomats were u.s. citizens who were stuck there when the city went on lock-down during the spread of the virus. another plane i believe it's a plane that is closer to the bottom of your screen with about 200 on board, it is headed to miramar down to southern california. the 550 people on board between we wi continue to follow this all morning on. we have a look at the quarantine zone as workers prepare to accommodate the evacuees. chopper 5 flying over traverse air force base yesterday evening and you could see through setting up fences around the main hotel on se ede also seen setting up tents. officials say if any evacuee does show symptoms of the coronavirus it would likely be transported to a civilian hospital off-base. >> i am a grandmother, a mom, and, you know, i am concerned. >> my son said they would not go to travis because that mission is for the military. >> the cdc team is expected to give a media update on the coronavirus evacuees from china today at noon. the south bay, five healthcare workers at good samaritan hospital in san jose were exposed to the new coronavirus and are being quarantined at home for a week. the santa clara county public health department confirmed the county's first patient sought treatment at the hospital and that is when the workers were exposed. to date there are two confirmed cases in the county at pacific rim plaza fears over the coronavirus are changing habits of customers and workers. many businesses say they have seen a drop in foot traffic. >> the only change i've seen is that more people are wearing masks especially the cashiers. >> health officials say it's available on all your favorite devices. the suspected government accused of opening fire on a greyhound bus headed to the bay area will appear before a judge. he was arrested on monday and is facing charges of murder and attempted murder. the bus left los angeles on sunday and was traveling on interstate 5 over the great line when the suspect opened fire on the bus. a woman was killed and five others injured. the passengers finally made it to oakland on monday night. we are getting new surveillance video of three teenage suspects wanted in a deadly stabbing in san jose. the teens can be seen here running away from the scene. it started with a fight on allen park avenue back in october and police say 18-year- old victim approached the suspect and when they started to argue one of the suspect pulled out a knife and killed the big dumb. according to authorities. police have not determined a motive for the stabbing. >> here's a look at washington, d.c. where there is another busy day ahead. the u.s. senate is expected to hold the final vote on whether to acquit or convict the president. acquittal is almost a sure thing as trumps republican party controls the senate and two of the iowa caucuses has not been released and say democrat leaders claim a technical glitch with the smartphone app that was supposed to be used to report precincts results. the process was different than in years past when caucus goers had to physically join the group supporting a certain candidate. this time they were also given cards to write down their first choice among the candidates as well as her second choice in case the first election did not have support to be viable. one present caucus chair says that could cause a lot of confusion. >> the problem with the cards is that people can me? what did they do to support me? people are yelling and screaming. >> the preference cards were implemented to report back more results. happenings an uber and lyft drivers plan to rally in san francisco demanding to be reclassified as employees under california's new bill. uber and lyft have resisted the bill since it took effect january 1 saying reclassifying drivers would sharply raise their labor costs and limit workers flexibility. more than 100 drivers will also file wage claims with the state labor commissioner's office. they are seeking back wages, overtime and other expenses for the past three years. san jose is moving ahead with a key component of the deer the expansion plan. it involves adding a second set of tracks along the existing rail corridor through the north says the 1400 pounds of fins were found hidden inside boxes. the shipment is estimated to be worth between $700,000 and $1 million. officials believe the fins were shipped from south america and 60s in land. this is just a start for us. dry offshore winds, the northerly winds as we go through the day and then as we head to the next few days that high pressure system will continue to build so we are really going to warm up by friday, saturday we will see the warmest temps of the week. many of us will be in the 60s. here we go as we head through the day. you can see all of that sunshine as you will have some trouble doing so. was found by beatty, break lights building out of tracy and working their tsnd tain wen de and really bogged down making the connection. just a heads up, as i mentioned, a wind advisory in effect for the altamont pass. there isn't a crash reported north on 280 at byrd avenue. i'm also getting reports of an accident on guadalupe parkway right at that 280
