You can see that gray start, temperatures are running in the 50s and 60s, 63 concord, oakland 62, 60 livermore, 59 San Francisco, 62 in san jose. Another breezy day along the coast, cool in the mid60s. For the bay, upper 60s, low 70s with breezy conditions and eventually that clearing and afternoon sun and for our inland locations topping out in the upper 80s to low 90s. We will talk about the rest of that cooldown as we head through the week and also Hurricane Dorian coming up. Good morning. Lets get a first check of your roadways this Tuesday Morning after a long holiday weekend. A lot of folks hitting the roadways early. A live look at conditions right now on our maps. Youre going to see delays as you work your way westbound coming out of 580 out of that tracy triangle. Things are starting to load up as you work your way through there. Clear pass out towards the dublin interchange. We are seeing a lot of green elsewhere so 101, 280 along the fence checking in with no problems. Nimitz freeway, so far, so good with no delays. 29 minutes in the green so bearable. It looks like the east shore freeway 14 minutes for your drive time. New developments on that deadly boat fire off the coast of Santa Barbara. A parent at pacific collegiate scoot in santa cruz says two students and at least two parents were trapped on board. At least 25 people died, nine others still missing. Lisa mateo has the latest on this investigation. Theres no escape hatch for any of the people on board. The driver stopped initially and then took off after people began hitting and kicking his car. And then about a block away three people were shot. In oakland this morning a search for answers and a suspect after a mother of five was struck and killed by a stray bullet. 44yearold martha caziano was shot around 1 00 yesterday morning on east 22nd street. Her daughter says her parents were leaving late night wedding celebration when the shots rang out. The bullet struck her, yeah. And she fell on the ground and she told my dad she wounded and to call 911 and unfortunately she passed on her way to highland hospital. Oakland police are offering a 10,000 reward for information to leads to an arrest. We now know a body pulled from San Francisco bay yesterday is the man police say smashed his way into Oakland International airport over the weekend. Crews recovered the body yesterday morning near the oakland estuary. On sunday an Alameda County deputy tried to stop a pickup truck that ran a stop sign. The driver sped down an access road, crashed through an airport gate and then drove onto the tarmac. Then he abandoned his truck and jumped into the water. As we take a live look in florida this morning, Hurricane Dorian is still hovering over the bahamas, now as a category 3 hurricane. You can see the palm trees moving back and forth because of the heavy winds right there, right now. Florida, georgia and the carolinas are bracing for dorians fury hoping it remains off the atlantic coast. The storm is already responsible for at least five deaths in the abaco islands. It looks beautiful. The chase center is a gorgeous facility from the outside and from the in. Todays event is a closed event to the public but, like you said, on friday its going to be public. We will get more into that in just a bit. Todays Ribbon Cutting ceremony at 10 30, a lot of people out here including governor gavin newsom and San Francisco mayor london breed and rick welch. This started back in 2012 when the warriors first announced its move to San Francisco. That was on may 22nd. They broke ground on chase center on january 17th, 2017 with then mayor ed lee and will open the doors for the first public event on friday and this is exciting. They will host metallica and the San Francisco symphony which has been a 20year collaboration so we will be the first event here at chase center. And then in the next couple of weeks they will have a lot of other acts including Sir Elton John so they have a great lineup for just the first few weeks of its opening. It took a lot for the 11acre Entertainment Complex in mission bay to be completed. More than 400 construction workers worked around the clock to get this done. You can see through video how gutted it once looked and now the arena can seat more than 18,000 people. Last november we were able to tour the facility with former warriors star kevin durant and it was also the first time tv cameras were allowed onto the arena floor. Highs today will cool down to near average and we are looking at tomorrow, monsoonal moisture possibly working its way into the bay area so that means more clouds for your wednesday and enough instability. There is the possibility, slight, slight chance of a shower or dry lightning for wednesday. But we will be watching that very closely for you. And its all because of this ridge of High Pressure bringing that instability possibly for tomorrow, but really the clouds for sure on wednesday. We have this low pressure system to our west and thats drying in that onshore flow and that marine influence and thats why we are going to be cooling down a little bit more today and more as we head through the week. On futurecast taking you hour byhour, we will have that clearing as we head through our afternoon, for tomorrow morning check it out, you can see the clouds moving in, this is at 6 00 a. M. And so we are looking at those clouds for most of the morning and the afternoon, catching a bit of some clearing as we head through tomorrow in the afternoon. We are going to see the winds pick up with a breezy day yesterday and that will be the case once again as we head through the afternoon. Really quick update on Hurricane Dorian. It was a category 3 storm, still battering the bahamas, near stationary, so really stalled out over the bahamas with maximum sustained winds at over 120 Miles Per Hour. And the cone of possibility takes it farther to the east. So with it, no longer the east coast of florida under that cone of possibilities, so but its so close to the coast of florida, georgia as well as that they still have hurricane warnings, Tropical Storm warnings in effect so strong winds, a storm surge of seven to even 10 feet possible and a lot of rain for them. Back at home, looking at upper 60s in San Francisco, mid70s in oakland, about 80 in fremont, mid80s in san jose.
