This is going to be like you said in the tripledigits today and that is why firefighters will be on high alert. Fire crews across the bay area preparing for dry, hot weather and lightning storms. Lightning to strike in very remote areas and in more than one spot. It could happen to the point where they have three spot fires in the same area, where we have to split the crews to maybe have three firefighters on one spot fire and a few more on the other fire. Whether it is multiple strikes, whether it is lightning strikes with precipitation or lightning strikes that are dry with no precipitation, the verga. So well review that and make sure that my firefighters have an understanding of what is anticipated. Reporter on top of that, firefighters have to bring extra gear now due to procedures for covid19 and evacuees will face a different situation due to the pandemic. Temperatures will be taken before entering evacuation centers, some evacuees have had to stay in cars or sent to hotels. Our affiliate in los angeles spoke with a homeowner who chose not to leave. It is just ironic how a fire could do that. But it is pretty scary when it gets fli ge gets flames like that. High and hot. Firefighters are battling the ranch fire in azusa, in l. A. County, and it is still 0 contained. And with that excessive heat, people may not feel like being in the kitchen if you dont have airconditioning but dining outside might be a tough sell and that is unfortunate as san jose is expanding outdoor Spaces Available<\/a> for restaurants and hair and nail salons. But after that i kind of looked back and i saw he was still there. She did save him. The 66yearold man, he did suffer a leg injury. The officer is okay. Well new this morning, stanford is under fire over some new policies of how it investigates Sexual Harassment<\/a> claims. Those new policies take effect today. They include some procedures on how students and administrators should file a complaint. What is missing . Apparently a attempted rate is no longer on the list of offenses. Acts have to to be completed and students are no longer required to get consent from partners. Backers say it gives both sides due process but critics say stanford is trying to sweep Sexual Assault<\/a> under the rug following the 2016 brock turner who Sexual Assault<\/a>ed a woman and only spent six months in jail. Over the firing of two black employees accusing pinterest of sexual discrimination. They are hired a law firm to investigate this.
