But tomorrow another day especially inland towards solano county, inland contra costa counties, same places today that saw widespread 100s, that will likely see it for another day tomorrow. Right now San Francisco youre not worried about any heat. A good strong sea breeze. Were not seeing any fog as weve got temperatures in the upper 60s. A bit windy out there, winds a21 miles per hour. Highs earlier in the 70s. Walnut creek, 98 degrees after a high of 102, which is just 15 degrees above average for this time of year. Yeah, you should not see temperatures that hot this time of year even for the weekends in july. You can see livermore, another spot today that topped out at 100 degrees. 95 right now. West wind at 12. And into san jose, briefly in the 90s. Right now 85 degrees with that northwest wind at 13. Not a spare the air day. Just not as clean as its been over the last couple of days or so. Plus weve had a local grass and brush fires in the area adding to some of that smoke pollution. When you look at the wind map, this is a good strong onshore push. However its like the fan is running as opposed to the airconditioning. You dont have any fog, the coolant to that onshore breeze. So even as the temperatures are turning onshore, were still in the mid to upper 90s inland. Notice how the low clouds really dont come back until tomorrow morning. Then as we head towards tomorrow evening, well begin to see more of those low clouds approaching the coast which will hint at some cooler changes by the time we get to mondays forecast. But for tomorrow, we begin the day in the 50s and are going to warm up very quickly inland. Another day in the 90s to about 100 degrees around morgan hill and san martin. Mid to upper 90s from san jose southward. Trivalley, livermore may be slightly hotter tomorrow as you see concord, pittsburg, and antioch again close to 100 degrees. But bayside not that bad. That west wind close to 20 into San Francisco. Thats going to keep temperatures again in the low 70s closer to downtown and north bay temperatures for another day in the 90s. Near 102 up around clearlake and 101 degrees in ukiah. We have the Desert Southwest high that just maxed out midway through the weekend. Its going to leave its influence on us for at least one more day. Then monday well begin to see some of that heat retreat as a sea breeze starts to pick up. Notice mondays temperatures now. Were back into the 80s inland and more 60s and 70s back across the bay. Hottest day of the next seven comes our way for tomorrow. San francisco not really talking about heat, much cooler we think on monday. Valleys seeing a big drop from the 90s to 100 degree temperatures for another day tomorrow. Into the mid 80s for monday. From there, upper 80s to low 90s. So it will be hot, just not desertlike hot that were seeing out there today. Its not that often that we see temperatures above 100 degrees. 105 in fairfield with humidity numbers in the single digits. That is not a bay area marine climate. It is more like what you expect in the deserts, which is where this particular region of High Pressure has built across california this weekend. So good news for fire danger. Well begin to see more moisture and that sea breeze pick up and cool us off we hope by monday and tuesday. Reminds me of my days in phoenix. Thanks very much.
