Reporter for many families, a little help is arriving in the form of stimulus checks. But for the Gonzalez Family, the money created a new dilemma. Reporter damian trujillo, nbc bay area news. Thats nice. Stuff like that is contagious in a good way. If you dont need your money, donate it. Sew gracious of them. Lets turn thing over to meteorologist jeff ranieri. Jeff has been giving us a lot of tips on how we can spend our time and youve even got like we can build a thermometer now this weekend, an activity. Is that back by popular demand . You guys want to see that again . Yes, of course. All right. I will load that up in my graphics here for the next hit in 25 minutes. We do have clouds rolling in but eventually theres going to be more sunshine and hotter weather. As we bring you outside to our live highdefinition camera network, we do have the cloud cover rolling into San Francisco, and some of that fog as well. Currently we have a cool 56 degrees. Well keep those 50s and that cloud cover as we continue throughout the next couple of hours. I want to show you the Doppler Radar and satellite next because we have been tracking a small disturbance offshore and then a storm system well to the south. We have had some showers bubble up in the Central Valley and a little bit here trying to get going over parts of the bay area. Mount hamilton has seen only 0. 01 of an inch, and a lot of this green youre seeing over alameda and also santa clara counties is not touching the ground yet because its dry at the lower levels. But there is that chance of a spotty shower overnight. I think really as we head through tomorrow morning, we have an isolated possibility of some drizzle near the coastline and most noticeably look at the cloud cover here that will be back with us. So an overcast start and then gradually as we head through the day, were going to get some sunshine breaking out, and that will make it an enjoyable day for us. We start off the morning with temperatures in the 50s. We dont warm up a whole lot. No more 70s or 80s. We have widespread 60s across the bay area except for the coast, which will be back into the 50s. Now, my extended forecast. We have been talking about this next chance of rain ahead. But things are really backing off on this, so ive actually lowered the totals as we head into next monday. So before we get to that, lets take a look at saturdaye have t for the morning, sun for the afternoon. By sunday, a slight chance of a shower by 10 00 p. M. And then once we hit monday, 0. 05 of an inch to 0. 15. Look at these temperatures climb. By next thursday, 80. By next friday, we are at 82 degrees. Thats 12 degrees above our average, and that would be day 39 inside with covid19. So as jessica mentioned, i have had some stuff to kind of maybe have you thinking here. We have cucumber, basil, tomato, squash, also lemon trees all great stuff in our microclimates to grow in april. And this stuff, raj and jess, im sure you maybe have been checking, its getting sold out online. Just getting simple seeds is hard enough.
