Mexico border and to an american hospital. I mean at that point it was too late. Even till his last day, he considered the u. S. His home, like his country. He was a proud marine. He was a proud marine, always, always a proud marine. For the country to turn their back on him like that salas died without ever meeting his namesake grandson, august enrique. So now Enrique Salas is finally back in the country he served so proudly. Back under a policy which allows deported v die to be buried in u. S. Soil. Salas now rests here in a Military Cemetery not far from where his parents still live southeast of fresno. I just dont want my dad, like everything that he didnd his life to be in vain.
