From staff reports LEWISTOWN — Kid Connection returns to Mifflin County after a pandemic-induced year off, with an event Saturday that is part in-person and part online. Among the activities will be a carnival and wrestling show, a local version of the Kindness Rocks Project and handouts to the first 300 children to register. Also part of the festivities are videos online with more activities for the kids. Registration is online at https://bit.ly/32ERYU8. Volunteers have already begun stuffing the commemorative tote bags that registered kids can pick up Saturday morning in the parking lot in front of Sweet Frog in Burnham. Distribution runs from 10 a.m. to noon. The bags have activity books, coloring bags, crayons and colored pencils, stickers, foam crafts, a pasta necklace or bracelet kit, pencils, Silly Putty, candy, markers, keychains, a toy surprise and more. Most exciting is a cookie kit from Key Club.
