They just kicked off a march in front of the San Lorenzo Unified School District office, the San Lorenzo Education Association says the high cost of living is really hurting the district when it comes to retaining and recruiting new teachers. They say the 24 million surplus in the district budget for next year could be used for teacher salaries. A new report is out from the Alameda County District Attorneys Office that shows how things have changed since da pamela price took over. The number of cases her office has taken and their outcomes are not part of the report. Assessing work done in 2023, prices office says part of the reason is because her office is updating how it collects data and analyzes it.
