evening. police are out in full force today on the lookout for any side show activity. more than 15 extra police officers have been brought in to beef up the patrols. we caught them as they rode out of the police station. police officers headed for areas where side show activity has happen in the past. particularly 41st and international. last sunday, the transit bus and big rig were set on fire and a driver carjacked. >> we will be here ready for the side show. and basically trying to take the city back from the side show. and try to give the citizens of owing a good peaceful sunday. >> reporter: the owing police have cited more than 200 cars, towed 27 vehicles because of side show activity. oakland police tweeting this out about 5:00 this afternoon. eyes in the sky, police helicopter helps ground units stop two dirt bike riders, no helmet, excessive speed. both dirt bikes. one reported stolen, two detained. so police will be taking zero tolerance to any side show i have breaking news from san mateo county. a paraglider has died after crashing into the pacific ocean near devils slide just south of pacifica. abc7s was there as crews tried to rescue the person. we're
