Students also presented their 10-year plans to community leaders. 1 DELPHOS — Jefferson High school hosted a Career Day on May 6. The day started with the freshmen showcasing their 10-year plan. They created poster boards, portfolios and resumes to present to during mock interviews. These mock interviews were conducted by area organization/businessmen and women and community leaders. Following the mock interviews, the whole school participated in a Career Fair featuring 25 businesses and keynote speakers Karen Grothouse and Krendl. The businesses included Superior Credit Union, D&D Ingredients, Schrader Realty, Spallinger Millwright, Vantage, Wannemacher Total Logistics, Edward Jones, Dick Clark Real Estate, Knippen Chrystler, K&M, Spherion, United States Army, Topp Chalet, Local 776, Westwood Behavioral Health, All Purpose Contracting, Lakeview Farms, First Financial Bank, Lima Memorial, GROB, Ohio Means Jobs, WOSN Sports, Hickory Pit BBQ, Morman Family Chiropractor, Peterson Construction, United States Navy and the City of Delphos.
