I just wanted some of your initial takeaways from this afternoon's victory, but first I want to say, just found out the one the Eastern players Dad passed away from the center. Condolences to them and our prayers out to him and his family. Hate to hear that said it happened during the game. We just found that out some prayers for him and his family. But that's what a responsible are guys that played so hard at halftime, someone with little unsure. But most of the seniors, they're like, we're gonna be fine. We're gonna be okay. Just correct the mistakes. It's not like we made big adjustments. Just correct the mistakes. In the second half. We played outstanding. We won the battle up front, and that's what you got to win football games. The line off the line And that was the difference in the second half of 26 2nd half points. Uh, the defense held a shutout as well. Let's talk about, you know, uh, one particular you think switch? Uh, they're in the final two quarters. I thought when we got there first drive and it was like 14, 14, 14, 14, 32. Whatever it was, we tied it up. We felt the momentum ship and then it was. Still, positions are kicking, did a really good job. We started pinning him in coverage, and then it couldn't drive the ball defense, made stops and came down, and we had a couple of big drives. So it was the momentum right there and we scored and the defense gotta stop. We felt like, Okay, here we go. This is our momentum and we took a man. So you mentioned to me a prior to the season that you wanted to see. I'm a little bit more growth and Kendall McCoy's game now six games through the season. I'll talk about his performance so far, and just how do you think he's gonna just come along? We even as a freshman, he's been outstanding, but we knew this season he had to step it up. What I loved at halftime, he said. Coach, I got it. We're good when your quarterback says that its confidence in the coaching staff and I believe that he looked at as coach. I've got it. We're good. We start the second half through them all better. Random, all better. Got the ball to the right people. So he really stepped it up. A huge turnout here, throwing away game on a Saturday. I start the fan base that the Warriors have come in and bring into the energy. Today, people love away. But we got a great culture at our school. We're just blessed where we are. Just so many people love us and love our program. What we represent. So, yeah, it was like a playoff atmosphere. I ain't touching Saturday game since state championship in, oh seven. So it was just cool. Great weather, But we definitely love the crowd. Support Northern Guilford next week. I believe that before the conference championship, what do you think your team needs to do to go out and win that game next Friday? Man, Right now I want to think about this victory. I know, I know they had a big win the other night, but two years ago, pleading for a conference champions their place in 2018. So it's just a repeat of that.
