(WTVA) - After serving the city for 15 years, Houston Police Chief Billy Voyles left the city hall on Wednesday as a retired man. Family, friends and officers all gathered Wednesday to congratulate Voyles. Voyles has served in many roles during his decade-and-a-half with Houston Police Department. He appreciated the city, the citizens of Houston, his family and more. The city also presented a plaque to Houston Alderman Frank Thomas who also retired on Wednesday.
