Houston throws retirement party for outgoing police chief
Family, friends and officers all gathered Wednesday to congratulate Voyles.

HOUSTON, Miss. (WTVA) - After serving the city for 15 years, Houston Police Chief Billy Voyles left the city hall on Wednesday as a retired man.
Family, friends and officers all gathered Wednesday to congratulate Voyles.
Voyles has served in many roles during his decade-and-a-half with Houston Police Department.
He appreciated the city, the citizens of Houston, his family and more.
The city also presented a plaque to Houston Alderman Frank Thomas who also retired on Wednesday.
HOUSTON Former Houston Deputy Clerk Kathy Smith was booked into the Chickasaw County Jail Friday morning, Feb. 26, on one count of embezzlement, according to jail records.
