If you work in the hospitality industry — or did before the one-two punch of Nashville's 2020 — and are in need of a Christmas dinner, head to the Nashville Farmers Market between 2 and 4 p.m. on Thursday (Christmas Eve Day).
The folks from Tennessee Action for Hospitality — the group of independent restaurant owners, workers, and chefs who have been advocating for the industry this year — have organized donations of 400 free meals and pantry items, to be given away on a first come, first served basis. Meals are available to any restaurant, bar or hotel worker — be they caterers, event planners or distributors. No proof of hardship is required.
