Frazer Celebrates Two Wins on Senior Night

Going out on a high note on his home mat was what Washington’s Ayden Frazer did on Thursday when the 182 pound grappler picked up a pair of victories on Senior Night.
After being recognized in front of a home crowd, Frazer put on a show for Demon faithful winning both of his matches by picking up a 17-2 technical fall over Williamsburg’s Jack Geels and a pin in 2:29 against Oskaloosa’s Will Campbell. Frazer just got back on the mat last week after missing a month and it was an emotional night for the senior. “This night means a lot. I have been doing this for a long time and for this to be my last time wrestling in this gym is emotional. In the tech fall match I feel like I controlled the match. On my feet I did everything I needed to do to come away with the win.” Frazer just missed out on a state berth last year and he described the keys for him to finish his career at Wells Fargo Arena next month. “I have to train harder than I ever have. I need to push my body past its limits. I just can’t stop. That’s what I need to do.”
