[chanting brag, brag, make sure criminals do their time. brag, brag punish crime, make sure criminals do their time. >> demonstrators say letting the anti-israel protesters off without consequence seats dangerous precedent: calling on the justice department to investigate and prosecute the crimes if bragg won't. this comes as a jewish mother and her husband were beaten at a brooklyn elementary school graduation ceremony. they say an arabic speaking family shouted free palestine at her and her family. the mother recording this brief video of the incident before being knocked to the ground. watch this. [shouting] now, the jewish woman says her husband was thrown to the ground by members of the other family and was put in a chokehold. others grabbed his leg and kicked and punched him. she says they were targeted because they're jewish. one arrest was made in the nypd crime task force is investigating. meanwhile, president biden is now condemning the violent clashes outside of a synagogue in los angeles. calling out anti-israel protesters saying, quote, intimidating jewish congregants is dangerous, unconscionable, anti-semitic and unamerican. americans have a right to peaceful protest but blocking access to a house of worship and engaging in violence is never acceptable. los angeles mayor karen bass says the lapd will be enhancing their partnership with jewish public safety organizations to prevent this from hang again. guys? >> lawrence: thanks, brooke. appreciate it. >> steve: thank you very much. >> ainsley: what happened in brooklyn was so disturbing. >> steve: elementary school graduation. >> ainsley: twins graduating from elementary school. twins are 10. and older child 16-year-old was trying to help his dad and he was punched in the face. they were trying to take a picture in front of the banner that had the school name and balloons behind them. >> steve: like everybody would. >> ainsley: tried to push them out of the way there is room for both families. and the dad started getting in an argument with the other dad apparently, someone out of nowhere just threw the one dad to the ground. is he catholic. his wife is jewish. >> lawrence: they have created an environment for this to happen. the lack of prosecution of these people that are doing these sort of acts only empowers more to do. just think about the d.a. here in manhattan where we live. he spent months in a courtroom focused on donald trump and he had the opportunity to go after violent offenders to kidnapped and held a school building and then he just let them go. it's just case after case. it looks like all these progressive prosecutors only motivated by politics. when we need them on a day-to-day basis to step up, send a message to criminals this is not going to be tolerated. charged already. one of the teachers at columbia told the "new york post" yesterday, they said why no doesn't encapsulate it either a coward or anti-semitic or it's a political election year. a lot of the protesters identify as progressive. and joe biden needs them on his side. and if the department -- one of the people at -- who works up at clcolumbia: bragg in election year is not going to do that. >> ainsley: set a precedent it's okay to take over a building at a university. can you barricade the doors. can you trap the custodians in there and they were terrified. we have a harvard university grad student who is coming up. i think you were interviewing him, steve, he was quoted on one of the articles. he is saying what alvin bragg said to all new yorkers, if you conceal your identities. if you harass jews long enough. if you take maintenance workers hostage. if do you that, you will not be prosecuted. this is unamerican, anti-semitic,and unacceptable in this great city of new york. >> lawrence: president released a good statement. i'm glad he did the statement it seems like we need something a little bit more forceful. maybe take to the podium and address this the biden camp. it looks like the biden camp has decided they are going to use the method of memorization. bring all these people in and have key conversations and they want the president to remember certain lines. >> steve: good luck. >> lawrence: for the debate that is the whole strategy. if joe biden can remember the canned lines that they have set up. the trump camp has done something different. they have decided to have experts in each line that agree with the former president's policy and certainly they are having conversations. so, there is a conversation going on. it's not based on memory. it is just flushing out where the president stands. what is he going to do. what he already did. giving him those stats and numbers. and quick hi equipping him for e that way and memorization. we will see which one works. >> ainsley: going through trump's comments in the past trying to figure out ways to get under his skin. >> steve: like game day. they are in that hanger and also apparently in a movie theater at camp david you have got bob bauer who is the president's former attorney who is married to anita dunn. is he playing donald trump. obviously from doug just told us regarding barack obama. everybody has got eyes. they know that joe biden is different than he was four years ago. in the back of their mind they're thinking can he full off you? are absolutely right. is he going through all the stuff. they are going through the bernie sanders and bernie through thebinders and memorizi. ultimately people are going to make their own decisions. we are all going to tune in to this channel on thursday night and see it. and we will know with our own eyes whether or not he is up to tchingt. >> lawrence: ainsley they talk about it in this n bsz piece. that biden debate prep strategy they are prepared for two different donald trumps. according to the advisers. biden advisers particularly combing through all of trump's recent comments. these people said in an effort to best identify what might get under his skin and what may trigger him the most if he does demonstrate some self-control. we will say this. i know there is a lot of effort talking about what can get under the former president's skin. but it's not like joe biden doesn't have a temper as well. we have seen him lash out at the press before. ains your son. >> steve: peter doocy a lot. >> lawrence: not going to say exactly who. it's interesting how they say there is two donald trumps. one thing i will say the former president has working for him he is an entertainer but there is no crowd. so there is no one to -- you know, he starts cracking jokes and everything as he has people in front of him. i think that's one of his secret weapons. i think it's something that could potentially get him in trouble as well. he doesn't have that to work with. it's just him and joe biden and the moderators. i think the bar has been set so low for joe biden though. >> steve: absolutely. >> lawrence: can he almost just show up. >> ainsley: they will be glad yes, he made it through. lawrence he was able to stand through the entire debate and there we got it. he won the debate. >> ainsley: he has it one-on-ones with donald trump. is he measured and gives us interviews. it will be a similar situation. although he will have to be going back and forth with biden arguing different issues. but, this report on barack obama, this was from a friend of his. and he said his anxiety about this election is real. he said the country is closely divided, which it is true. the media landscape is fractured and donald trump may very well win. >> steve: and, remember, at the end of the obama legacy and administration, he wanted hillary clinton to be the next president. sorry, joe, you are just not up for it. >> ainsley: apparently he got real involved with the campaign when they found out donald trump was probably going to be the nominee. >> lawrence: make sure you tune in to fox this thursday for the fox news democracy 24 special conch of the cnn presidential debate simulcast. our conch is going to be thursday at 8:00 p.m. eastern time. and i think we're going to be up early the next day. >> ainsley: sean will be in the spin room after the debate. we normally go on air at 6:00 but we are going on at 5:00. >> steve: we will be at a diner in virginia because that is now a battleground state. and interestingly enough, we will have as the one of our guests glenn youngkin the governor of the commonwealth of virginia who some have suggested would be a formidable should donald trump give him the nod. >> lawrence: i'm going to do georgia in anticipation of the debate. we got you on both sides of it. >> ainsley: we are all over the place. i wonder if donald trump will bring up at the debate some of joe biden's policies such as student loan forgiveness. >> steve: that's not policy that's vote buying. >> ainsley: congress did not approve that he is saying is he still going to do that and federal judges stepped in and said this cannot happen. there is one who was appointed by barack obama. and says that it fails to clearly show that congress authorized the repayment plan for this student debt. >> steve: there are two federal judges, one in kansas and one in missouri yesterday separately decided we are going to put the entire program, the save program on ice. we're going to put it on hold while lawsuits that were filed in march and april are determined. now, here's the thing. in the meantime, the borrowers will still have to make payments but those with undergraduate debt no longer will see their payments cut in half starting on july 1st. that was the vote buying right there. joe biden, without congressional approval was going to have everybody's loan payment. and this would make you really love him, right? this particular program, nothing new, save program has been around for 30 years. it is keyed to you're going to make a payment based on the household size and also your income. and so, you know, people loved it, hey, can he do that? well, it doesn't matter, as long as they don't stop it. well, they stopped it. >> lawrence: steve, since 2021, biden has approved 167 billion in student loan bailouts for 4.75 million americans. those are the voters that he is going after. but, ainsley, i think this was a part of the plan the entire time. he knew it was a ridiculous idea. >> ainsley: owe knew it probably wouldn't get through. >> lawrence: he floated it out there to say aye done it and keep trying to do it even though when the courts say no. >> ainsley: they keep stopping me. >> steve: no it's republicans. >> lawrence: judges are stopping me as well. that's why you got to reelect my so i can redesign the court and get new democrats into office. >> steve: i think he is going to blame the republican attorney generals in these various states like the great state of kansas, which i love, and missouri and august the others, so don't be surprised in you hear that one other thing regarding the debate in two nights, apparently joe biden is going to go on the offense regarding abortion which we saw coming, but also immigration and you are thinking wait a minute, there is a lot of bad news regarding immigration. apparently what he is going to talk about in the last couple of weeks, he has given a pathway to citizenship for these americans who are now married to migrants. >> lawrence: i think the former president also when it -- it's always the extreme, okay? and i think at some point of the debate, if they decide to bring up roe v. wade he has to look at joe biden and say how long, joe? third trimester? no democrat wants to go on the record and say if third trimester. do you want to get the baby comfortable like the former virginia -- make him answer that question. >> ainsley: you think it's okay to an abortion? month 7? month 8? what is your time frame? >> lawrence: that's exactly right. >> ainsley: most americans would get on board with 15 weeks. >> lawrence: totally agree. >> ainsley: he needs to answer this specifically. donald trump said it needs to go back to the states. >> steve: it has been a loser for republicans in these special elections for the last couple of years ever since actually yesterday was the seconds anniversary of the overturning. so it will be interesting. what a show thursday night. we're going to all have to be watching and, of course, watch us the next morning because we will have post game reaction, meanwhile, speaking of migration. one of the
