>> i know i can't do a better job telling the story and booker t did, he wrote all these books and teddy roosevelt wrote his own autobiography and photo is on quadrant how they work together in this country we need to have examples, in our past how african-americans and white people work together because they knew there was an equity they were okay. they love the country. booker t had every reason not to like it, he traveled and skill set a brother be an american. >> a perfect example of what you are proving, teddy roosevelt learned through education, best schools, he learned through the grapevine, words past slave to slave because they weren't allowed to read, reading was forbidden about how the author education but all the information he was getting, the voice inside him place like this is not enough, it will do for now but it's not enough. the same voice was like this is great but i want more which only can be done in this country because anywhere else when you are born where you are, that's where you are. >> you are right on the money he went to english and saw african-americans a better understanding most of the south at the time but they were before they were. he said what i loved about america, i'm paraphrasing, there's no cap on what i could become and he felt europe and england they were happy at a certain level even though it was maybe a little above and someplace in the south, he liked the possibility of america at a time in which he looked around and saw lynchings, jim crow, he said wrong, wrong, wrong but how do i make a better?
