>> jeanine: one word: week. we have had 14 separate assaults, 24 military people injured, a contractor died of a heart attack, and this guy says, if you continue to do that, we are going to get upset with you. you shoot at an american servicemen, we will come after you in a tank. it should be that simple. no one is buying what he is saying. he is not fooling anybody. this whole idea -- we've got to recognize, to get in all the missile defense systems, they do need time, because those defense systems are going to be over iraq and syria and jordan, saudi arabia, the uae. we've got troops all over the world, and so now we've got to bring in the troops, the systems to protect them. what obama -- he just contradicts himself. last week, he said, you know what come he said i have convinced the egyptian officials to open the rafah border. we can't even get americans out of the rafah gate, and right now they are telling americans in palestine and in lebanon and in israel to come back to the united states. so he's got no power. he doesn't in any way signal power. then you have nancy pelosi, she comes out and says we don't want revenge, we want justice. well, what should we do, nancy? should we put it on the civil calendar or the criminal calendar? the civil calendar is a little bit of a backlog. this is war. you put on your big girl pants and you understand that you fight the enemy. there will be civilian casualties. hamas is waiting for us to go into the territory. this is a kind of war that no one has ever waged. they are not like this. this is something that we have buildings above ground, fights on ground, and fights below the ground. and what we know right now is that hamas is putting the palestinians out there as pawns because just as they said, the hostage said, it is air-conditioned in the tunnels, they have doctors, medics, it's clean, we had food. we had few will. they have hospitals in palestine because hamas won't give them the fuel that they obviously have. so this is all a p.r. war, but in addition to that, it is a real war, and biden better get in there and start fighting it. >> jesse: what did you think of the president today? >> piers: he well come he does not instill a lot of confidence, let's put it politely. i completely concur with you. the commander in chief of the united states in situations like this one a bunch of americans, by the way, were also killed come on october the 7th, they he already been actually killed in a proxy by iran, funding hamas, a massive operation they have put on, lots of reports coming out of training of hamas terrorists by iran, potentially in iran, as well, so iran has already killed american civilians on october the 7th, and you look at joe biden, and you look at somebody come and you think, is this a guy that is actually going to go through on what he is saying? but then, how is that not the same thing as a humanitarian pause, as pelosi is calling it, or delaying the groundwater? to me, that is just helping hamas. i think kirby is right, kirby is a military guy, kirby is also an administration who is publicly and behind the scenes and also in the media telling israel to slow down and israel, you better take care of the people there and you better think ahead, you better -- meanwhile, they are still counting the dead. they are still trying to do burials. they are still grieving. they know. maybe it won't be tomorrow. maybe they need an element of surprise. the idf isn't ready, who knows, i don't know all of those things. but i do think the pressure the administration is putting on in these ways feels a little gross to me. the one thing the president did today that i thought was very good as he was asked about the death toll in gaza, citing hamas statistics, and he said, i have no confidence in the numbers that the palestinians are using. that is very helpful, very useful, and guess what, "new york times," you can take that onto the bank, still in "the new york times" today wondering, maybe it is still plausible the israelis bombed the hospital. it is preposterous. the last thing i would say as i thought it was jarring and horrific that today the leaders of hamas, hezbollah, and the palestinian jihad, are all meeting in beirut, and there is pool coverage. just going to save the freaking word, they are taking -- as if they called them into the oval office to take pool coverage. they were going to take questions? how is it that they are still alive? if the three of them are together, in one place, how is it not that they are the state sponsor of terrorism right now in beirut? who are you for? and i would say the same thing about qatar. two weeks ago, the four seasons in doha had to put out a tweet, we can confirm the leader of hamas is not staying here. why would they say that? because they don't want to get bombed because there are people who are saying, why are we saying that qatar is so great? may be very good ally on some things, but in the meantime, they are also dribbling out any sort of information to hamas to help protect them, and the fact that those guys could actually have a meeting, with media coverage, to me is a really bad sign about where this is going. >> jesse: not great street cart if you're a hamas terrorist staying at the four seasons. greg? >> piers: i love what they did in the u.k. wrote a letter and just said, "i'm out." i'm told, tens of millions of dollars, boom, out the door. i think there is going to be punishment at the highest level financially like that from the big donors, who should not accept this. but i would actually kick the students out. i wouldn't give them one chance. if you basically endorse terrorism, terrorism, by the way, against americans, killed americans, as well as, obviousl0 israelis, if you kill americans and you are attending an american university and you endorse the terrorism that killed them, you are out. that's it. zero-tolerance. because, by the way, these people, as you touched on when it comes to free speech, have zero tolerance for anybody else that has any view that deviates from there is. apply the same cancel culture logic they apply to everybody else about everything to themselves because what they have done is actually more heinous than anything else i can think of in recent times. you talk about where they are getting this from. they are getting it from the people teaching them. you have this guy, professor russell rexford, who said he felt exhilarated and energized by the terror attacks. that is what he said in public. had a megaphone. he is a professor teaching these kids. another one, stockton, accusing israel of weaponizing the holocaust, think about that. think about publicly accusing israel of weaponizing the holocaust. so they are being taught by people who have extremely warped and dangerous mindsets. so of course some of them are going to veer toward that mind-set. but i think you kick them out and you say no, and i think to the donors, you can make the call, do what john has mended. actually vote with your wallet, take away the funding to these places until the people, create an atmosphere where this kind of thing is simply not tolerated. >> jeanine: it's interesting, what piers says about that, the anti-israel fervor is, in addition to that, it is and sharing the deaths of americans who were in israel. >> dana: they skipped over that part. they want to pretend like i didn't exist. it also feels like the young woman that was just talking, feels like she learned some talking points and she just repeats them over and over again. there is no, like, wisdom and something but she is saying. she also said losing her job was violence, okay, so they don't even know what the word violence means. i also want to point out, now that we have some decades of this problem, the teaching of these ideals, the landsat magazine, like the oldest medical magazine, very prestigious, they organized a letter signed by 2,000 medical professionals calling for a cease-fire in the region and then there is a note at the bottom that they debated whether or not to include a call to release the hostages. and they decided against including it. so imagine this. you have 2,000 medical professionals expressing concern over the hospital bombing that did not happen, and they decided as a group, voted to remove a call to rescue the hostages. that's right. >> jeanine: greg, do you want to comment on the rot?
