images out of ramallah. protest there. shift attention to the north, getting new information at this moment. earlier tonight nine rockets fired to northern israel along the gay strip. in the north, jihad rocket. >> jonathan: neconis disputing this was a deadly explosion at a major hospital in gaza city. what is in dispute is the source much the explosion. palestinians were quick to blame israeli strike, claims sparked anger across much of the arab world. israel says they were not conducting any strikes in the area of the hospital at that time and this had nothing to do with them. israeli defense forces offered video and audio evidence they say prove this was a rocket fired by islamic jihad in gaza. they say the rocket malfunctioned and fell on the hospital, still fully loaded with fuel because it had not traveled far and that is what sparked the huge explosion. israel released what officials say is audio of a conversation between hamas and islamic jihad members. listen here. >> i mean, you have probably seen me on television, i'm usually very calm and collected, i try and keep a mild view and i understand you have a job to do and i have a job to do. i found it frustrating that hamas gets this platform and i cued not stop thinking about an organization that butchers babies in bedrooms and they get to say to the media and accepted as fact hamas says and as if it is enough you atrtribute it to hamas and should be accepted or broadcasting. that is why this morning i had that exceptional exchange with cnn. that is not me and not hour i convey messaging, i prefer to be straight-forward and factual and less on the emotional side, i believe people are interested in facts. i just lost it this morning and i am sorry for that, that is not what i want, i don't think it benefits any viewers to get mad over it, especially in my official role. so much misinformation and disinformation that it undermines what you are trying to do for your viewers, trying to give good service to people who want to be informed. when you fail like this, you are failing your viewers and the story and i felt for the victims of hamas's terrorist attack this morning and why i was very direct. i felt the need to do that. i have a friend that sent me caption of fox news and i found that to be the most realistic conveying of what actually was happening as it was developing. so yes, you need to know that there is a responsibility in reporting, responsibility when covering conflict and in these crazy times and times upon conflict, we need to be responsible and stand up to that responsibility. i'm thankful and i appreciate the time and i've been interviewed from ireland today to the uk, u.s. to australia, all over the world presenting israel's case to get the message across that hamas cannot be trusted. this organization will butcher babies in bedrooms and have no problem lying to you and we need to address hamas communication effort, their propaganda effort. there is no free voice there, you can't trust them. do not give them credit more than -- don't give them any credit what i'm trying to say. >> kayleigh: if you purn babies,a live, we will question your facts. our own president, president biden was asked, what data do you have? he said data from my own department of defense. i think that is established at thissin po. this is a war of information. you see what happened yesterday, the knee-jerk reaction of blaming idf. how do you combat this as ground invasion take place, knee-jerk reaction to embrace misinformation. you have facts and images, not lost upon us, hamas was out without facts blaming this on you, on idf. >> i'm hoping that the world media are watching this event today and we have seen over the course of a day, a lot of turning down and you showed "new york times" and i hope if there will be an event such as this next time, we will be able to respond rapidly and reporters and journalists won't be after this crazed seek of attention to break the story first and then tell a story that is factually wrong, inaccurate or misleading. we've seen over the course of a day and covered what is going on in lebanon outside the u.s. embassy and last night outside the embassy in jordan. words have meaning, they create action. it is created and this is what has happened. we need to be, you have a responsibility, we have a responsibility, we have professional ethics, you have ethic, live up to them and not do hyperbole, and make sure terrorist are not abusing access they have to you. another colleague i work with, sent me today, why aren't you inviting me to such and such event, i get invited by hamas to everything. we have access. we have limited access. hamas just sends propaganda to everybody, it is all manipulation. >> kayleigh: lu -- -- chad pergram, it seems jordan is hemorrhaging votes he had just yesterday. >> chad: this is over for jim jordan on the second ballot, they are early in the roll call, the fact so many cast ballots for other people. you have a vote for lee zeldin, chavez from oregon voting for somebody else. buck voting for tom emmer. bacon voting for kevin mccarthy. here is what is going to happen. he might at the end, a lot of names to be called, might come back and say you did better, see if he does better or worse. they might turn around and say mr. jordan, thank you for playing, gig is up and we have to get a speaker and go on to empower patrick mchenry, speaker pro tem, and make him the acting speaker. democrats might take that as a win. the reason they did not like jim jordan for speaker. there are a number of republicans do not not want him they vote him being too ectreme. they are done right now. this vote is open, jim jordan will lose that vote and will have to go to a third ballot. >> kayleigh: thank you. david webb, jim jordan losing this vote, let me layout what happen. there was reporting from jake sherman that david joyce would put forward something to make a resolution to make patrick mchenry permanent speaker pro tem, involve votes from democrats. he is speaker pro tem now. this would be privileged resolution by a source familiar, there would need to be a vote on that today. in other words, if jordan loses, this motion comes forward, could look at a vote to make mchenry temporary speaker. >> david: and mike kelly involved in the resolution. a couple of things. one, what is it that gets any one votes for anyone other than mccarthy closer to their goal. jordan rather, if you vote for mccarthy, not coming back, steve scalise is out, this is not legislation or consensus trying to avoid christmas trees, this is building leadership that is needed right now. whether for or against jordan, how does this give you a way forward? >> absolutely and thank you for the time. it is incredibly important that the united states and president biden stand up to iran. i was in the middle east and the terrorist attack of october 7 stalled our delegation from entering into israel. once we were able to go in, we didn't meet with top leaders, we met with prime minister netanyahu and ron durmur and they were grateful for the united states coming in and standing shoulder to shoulder with them against the hamas terrorists. what we need to do as united states of america and through president joe biden is stop appeasing iran and have strength at a time like this and he is not exuding that. you are going to continue to see pressure coming out of tehran and continue to see it with proxy terrorist around the region. be serious about ending terrorist threats and we know it is all emanating out of iran. >> emily: concern regarding that, senator is clear what we need to do and what the president needs to do. it was lacking today in his speech, some of his speech from israel speech was strong in words but he refuses to acknowledge iran and given that we've had rockets and drones fired at the air base in iraq and american citizens in gaza killed, the arm of iran is behind hezbollah so much and he fails to recognize it verbally. what say you? >> yeah, absolutely agree. you are spot on. and when we are not exuding strength as the united states of america, we see that the authoritarian regimes are going to press very hard. they see an opening to make cracks between the united states and our friends and allies throughout the middle east. they saw weakness with this president and they are exploiting it. they saw the opening to attack israel. what iran want in the middle east and absolute chaos. they fear people and fear saudi arabia peace agreement and fear the abraham accord and see opportunity with weak administration to make a difference and separate the united states from the region. this is why we desperately need strong leadership in the white house. we need strong leadership in congress, as well. we need the house to come together and work with partners in the united states senate and push back on iran. freeze that $6 billion the president had just released, make it formal not informal agreement. we need to start intra dikting iranian oil, we let this go on far too long and we are lining their pocket and that money goes to the terrorists and support israel with relationships and intill igence. anything we can do for the israelis, we need to do. >> kayleigh: senator, president did say terrorists will not win, freedom will win. i appreciated framing of terrorist versus freedom loving democracy, good words there. to me what was missing from president biden's speech was what we heard from former president trump, you harm an american citizen, you harm an american hostage, you will have a solamani-style strike reign down on you. he was asked and why won't he deliver that message? >> it is this situation of appeasement coming out of the white house. i don't know why the president is heck bent on trying to appease iran and not calling them out. we have families missing loved ones. we know there are american hostages being held in the gaza strip, we have 30 americans that are dead now because of terrorist attacks and you are absolutely correct, in the former administration, we would have heard direct language. we need that now. it needs to be very clear that iran, you harm an american, we're coming after you. we have 30 americans dead thus far, we don't need to see anymore. we need to show strength in the face of iran's terrorist proxies and we don't see it today. >> senator joni ernst, thank you. bring the conversation to the couch now, nicole, your thoughts on iran and the president's failure to acknowledge continued verbal threats? >> dr. saphier: we need to make it clear any innocent lives lost are the fault of hamas and when you have government engage in unprovoked murderous behavior, everything that ensues afterward is at their hands. the president will not talk about iran, other people will. when you had the hospital strike happen, media said it was israel listening to hamas. when you look at who targets hospitals not civil nations like israel, you have islamic jihadist who bombed israeli medical facility, you had paramedics and other innocents killed or injured and russia is bombing the maternity ward. we saw pictures of a pregnant woman who later died. you have iran murdering doctors, who are treating any sort of protester and let's not forget, you have doctors that disappear at beginning of covid when acting as whistleblowerelblowers. president biden is not talking about other players, but nikki haley is drawing the tie. she had op ed entitled wake up america, our enemy are evil alliance taking advantage of our weakness across the world. there is bigger picture here and president biden is not doing justice by not calling out iran and other bad players. >> emily: kayleigh, there is difference in word and aksz. we have verbal threats, time is up. warning of another shock wave, they say the u.s. must be held responsible. direct quotes from supreme leaders and their proxies and compare to their action as they levee brutal atrocities in proxy via hamas, hezbollah and more. you have our word and action on behalf of the president, despite his strong words, he said a terrorist group in gaza. why not say hamas and hezbollah and islamic jihad and name the entity behind him because his action embolden iran?
