>> brian: just a quick word. uncle cracker was here. he performed here, then he brought his kid in the control room. do you know hanging out in the basement was kid rock, uncle cracker and eminem. they grew up together. kid rock was the mentor. >> ainsley: from detroit. >> steve: uncle cracker was essentially his roady. just carrying everything around for him. >> brian: he has to stage a comeback. >> ainsley: that would be a lot of fun. we should take a camera and go on the road with the three of them. >> steve: i have been to a party with them. >> lawrence: we could use brian's jet. >> brian: and with my butler. that would be great. >> ainsley: you have to set your alarm. steve. >> lawrence: i do that. >> ainsley: what time do you wake up. >> 3:34. 4:15 dude if you don't get up it's going to be a problem. >> steve: empty chair. >> ainsley: then i would do 3:30. 3:35. i do it all because some days i'm more tired than others. and i will make it all the way to 4:15 just hitting off, off. >> lawrence: my fear is forgetting to set the alarm. >> ainsley: that has happened to me. >> steve: in 25 years i have never once gotten up when it rang. i know if i hit it once the snooze alarm, you are going to do it 12 times. so it rings and i get up and my wife goes to me hey, it's time to make the donuts. she has been saying that -- she has been quoting the dunkin' donut as for 24 years. >> brian: he wants to act if the primary is not here. if you have been watching what is happening with no labels. they are gaining momentum. they have legitimate candidates that are actually in support. led by, perhaps, jerome and others behind the scenes. now it looks like r.f.k. is getting so sick of trying to get a primary, trying to get a debate. trying to get attention. even though he has got roughly 10% to 15% support. he's thinking about going third way, third party. and new england the people that are concerned about the effectiveness of that third party, hillary clinton. not so much that he could win, but that any republican could win against joe. >> lawrence: go ahead. >> steve: i was going to say, so hillary clinton was at the white house earlier this month, and she had a private conversation with joe biden. and she warned him about a third party candidate. remember, it was in 2016 that hillary clinton, in addition to running against donald trump, jill stein was also running as the green party nominee. and i looked it up this morning, jill stein got 1% of the popular vote. she siphoned about a half a million votes, probably more off hillary than anybody else. and that's one of the reasons why one white house insider said it's pretty f'ing concerning. and because when you look at the polls, right now, according to the nbc poll, joe biden and donald trump are tied. >> ainsley: they are neck and neck. >> steve: if you have somebody get half a million votes, every half a million counts. and then when you factor -- there you can see right there. but then when you factor in, according to the nbc poll and we have some more stuff to add to this. when you add in the libertarian, the libertarian would get 5%. no labels would get 5%. and the green candidate would get 4%. and here's the thing. donald trump would actually beat joe biden by 3 points. when you have got it all like that. look at that so that's the way it is. and that's the reason there are so many people in biden world freaking out. >> lawrence: ainsley, r.f.k. was understanding at first. he says he understands why the president wouldn't debate him. guys, i think it's important to get this statement from the kennedy campaign. this is what they had to say. i think it's truly telling. the fact that the president is so unpopular, that fully a third of democrats would vote for an independent candidate in the general election, underscores the importance of running a fair and competitive primary election. so, his argue. is, look, the voters really don't want you, but, since you are the sitting president, at least give me a shot at running against you. if you come out as the winner, then so be it. but the party is rejecting you a third of the party is rejecting you right now. you are a weak candidate. and i'm afraid that a lot of democrats won't show up to the ballot if you're the candidate. >> ainsley: r.f.k. has big decision to make. he knows if he runs independently he will pull votes. definitely pull votes that would mean a loss, definitely or most likely according to these polls for the democrats. so, does he do this because he is mad at biden? he pulls away? and then that's a win for republicans, probably? or does he say the party is more important to me than sticking it to joe biden? >> brian: so joe manchin could run on the no labels. is he actually considering it becausbecause trailing jim just. >> ainsley: would he goat the ge votes of democrats? >> brian: it will be a factor. republicans should know, too, thanks to him we don't have 52 states. thanks to him we don't have a supreme court that's expanded. but, also thanks to him we have the inflation reduction act. so, he is halfway in between. but, relatively popular, the democratic party in west virginia. but, what's interesting is cornel west still out there. even if there was no label. cornell would be getting one and a half, 2%. only have 63% of the black vote right now. cornel west would get a lot of the black vote. you wouldn't get the black vote necessarily from trump. lawrence the problem at his core is with the democrats. to the point of manchin, you know. we have a lot to thank him for but i think he is also disgruntled with the democratic party as well. you don't get jim justice running this race if biden and the democrats hadn't been so bad. probably would have just dayed in his lane. but the fact that things have gotten so pad bad, it's an easy pickup for the republicans to have. the popular governor who was once a democrat switch over to republican side and running that senate seat. he almost has no shot in re-election right now. >> brian: the senate looks really strong for republicans too. if you look at tester vulnerable out there. tim sheehy. i don't think matt rosendale has a shot. tim sheehy the navy seal emerging out there. now you have mike rogers in michigan. if anyone has a legitimate chance to win in michigan as a republican. it's mike rogers. >> lawrence: great interview yesterday brian former intel guy in the house. i thought he had left politics. >> steve: he did for a while. >> lawrence: he comes back on the scene whment our national security is at risk. he has a real shot in michigan. >> ainsley: michigan has already decided the abortion issue that hurt tudor dixon no exceptions unless it's going to harm the mother. a lot of women did not like that. now the issue is they have already voted on that in the state. that won't be an issue. now it's economy, economy, economy. you learned that yesterday in your interview. >> brian: yeah. and real quirks i think the key with abortion with republicans if they want to know how to message it correctly, i think when the baby feels pain. i would love to see a democrat come back and go so what? >> steve: i'm sure it's going to be a big topic tomorrow night on the fox business debate. of course, you will see it on fox business and simulcast right here on fox news. in the meantime, let's go from politics to the politics of the border crisis. new video showing severe overcrowding at a processing facility in eagle pass, texas. look at that. >> brian: exclusively given to us. border patrol is struggling to keep up as 11,000 migrants pour into the u.s. over a 24 hour period. >> ainsley: peter doocy is live at the white house with the latest. peter, it's over capacity those pictures, right? thousands are there and supposeo house maybe 100. >> kwame capacity in the picture we just saw and show again in a second. over the last couple years the people who work here said do not come. but they never really articulated a reason not to. look what happens then. we have some other video. there are children crying out in pain as they are pushed and pulled through barb wire by their parents or at least by the adults accompanying here. these people are desperate. this group turned themselves into the border patrol. that's what you are supposed to do to claim asylum. border patrol is not ready for this kind of volume. at one point in the last week, 4600 border crossers were stuffed into these tents in eagle pass. the facility is only designed to hold up to 1,000 people at a time. so they are at kwame capacity. these are the kind of numbers overwhelming shelters in big cities as well. and not every one of those 11,000 people entering illegal every day are doing so peacefully. some border patrol officers have been bloodied and that has their families worried. >> i happen to come across armd with a long rifle and i mean i aa lot of them have weapons. most have knives. we have collected knives off of almost every single one that we have encountered here at our house. so it's very dangerous. >> then there's this. many people coming here illegally are doing so but nothing but the clothes on their backs. so are coming with flags and flag pole planting what looks like colombian flag on the rio grande quickly taken down by texas dps. president biden is visiting border states, arizona and california. today, tomorrow, and part of thursday. we do not anticipate any stops at the border. back to you. >> brian: sooner or later they will have to cover it and admit this is real problem. i know you don't flip around you only watch fox. every network is now covering this story on every level from the central and south american countries through mexico. it's going to be impossible that more hands than you finally are going to go up in that pressroom. have you noticed that? >> peter: it has come up a few more times. when you have got new york city's mayor, the democratic mayor of the biggest city in this country saying that he is going to start evicting migrants after 60 days because they just don't have the resources in new york city anymore, to take care of these people, you have got 100 plus business leaders led by jamie dimon saying having these migrants then basically out on the street in front of businesses is not great for a city that is struggling economically. these are things that are starting to affect everybody around the country. and, again, yes, there have been a few more questions in the pressroom from other outlets but the answers are not changing. it seems like something has to change at some point because, again, they said do not come. >> lawrence: they are coming. >> peter: somewhere along the line they are not getting the message. they are not being given strong enough reason not. to say. >> steve: because the cartels are louder in those countries than the white house messaging. >> brian: and they get in. >> steve: thanks so much, peter. >> ainsley: if you watched the long images included in the piece of the mother crawling through the barb wire. razor wire. child underneath he gets poked. you can hear him crying. another man clips his finger on the razor wire and they say ouch. they just keep walking. >> lawrence: where is aoc? where are the tears of these kids, i mean, we saw her cry in front of the gate. and we are seeing it's clearly child abuse. plus you have got grown men that won't fight for their country, yet, they come to our country and place their flag there. it's so crazy. >> ainsley: also the story this morning they went through the rio grande. and when they got to our border, there was so much razor wire they couldn't get through. the border agents finally after a stand still for four hours i believe. so hot down there on the southern border, our agents had to cut the razor wire and say all right, y'all have to come over because they didn't want them to die. >> brian: kids screaming. >> steve: terrible image. blaming greg abbott for putting the razor wire there. >> brian: wall humanitarian. governor hochul in new york has called up 150 national guard to join the other 2200 national guard. in order to deal with the over 200 plus facilities here. people on the street. the 60 to 100,000 we don't have a key number on it to deal with them. also specifically for the venezuelans who got here before july 31st and believe me they are not checking the date. now going to be escorted downtown to office buildings, taxpayer dollars rented to get them a good job. build up their resume. get them to kinkies, bring them back and get them here. if you want to know why people are coming, because we are letting them, in giving them three meals, giving them a place to live. now we are giving them jobs and resumes. i don't know why they are coming, joe. you tell me. >> steve: national guard is going to help them actually apply for jobs and stuff like that. meanwhile, as the republicans try to pass spending bills, the end of this month will end big financial package because during the pandemic, lawmakers funded paid leave, elder care and child care. it's going to end this weekend. and so, you know, a lot of child care advocates are saying we are facing a child care cliff, unless the republicans and the rest of the members of congress can actually come up with some cash because millions -- this impacts 3 million kids at 70,000 child care programs. but then, look at this. there has been a new survey by a group called net credit. it's an online thing. actually, child care has become so expensive, it is more expensive to send your kid to child care than it is to send your kid to a state college. look at these numbers. >> ainsley: unbelievable. so, in ohio, child care costs is more than 21,000. but look at their instate college tuition. it's about $5,000. it's about four times -- you can go to college and then you get out of college, you get married, you have your babies and then it's four times your college tuition to send them to child care or to get child care. >> steve: child care is $15,000 more than going to a state institution. and new york, actually, has the highest costs. costs 23,000 for child care. 7,000 for in state tuition. the nuns are just unsustainable when you think about it. just imagine how much these parents have got make just to pay for the child care. >> lawrence: that's why some parents that's why i covered this doing cross-country. some parents are making the hard decision to just stay at home. one parent is going to work and another is staying home. they simply can't afford it. when they do the cost of the tuition for them to go to school. as well as the food and all any say one of us has to stay home. think if you have three kids and $20,000 per kid. and you make 50,000. you are paying more to get child care so it makes sense to stay home. frin brian we are a nation that has spent so much on social programs, no matter how necessary or unnecessary in certain situations they are, $33 trillion in debt. so at what point do the states, do the counties, do the -- does the country say at what point you are on your own or get tax breaks for it down the line. so maybe tax write-offs in the big picture that maybe get you a refund at the end of the year. but these programs were funded on printed money and now they're taking away saying yeah, it's the production' fault. >> steve: there is a lot of programs the federal government funds probably they could find the money to pay for the child care. parents who want to work can't afford child care, they are not going to go to work. then you lose tax money. it is a domino effect. >> ainsley: hard to hear we are paying millions of dollars. what is it in new york? a billion dollars per year? >> brian: 1.4 this year for hotels alone. >> ainsley: can't afford child care but pay for people here. >> steve: they got to find the money that's all there is to it. >> brian: traditionally funded child care for americans? >> ainsley: i think it helps the day cares. giving them a little extra boost after the pandemic. >> brian: we have never done that for the whole entire country. >> ainsley: you any how it is, you give someone these benefits and it's hard to take them away. coming up, god's plan includes abortion? your reaction to these billboards? >> well, it's absolutely heart breaking. as an abortion survivor, i want people to know the truth. and the truth is that god life. he stands for life. >> and every life he a miracle. >> brian: jennifer, this hits home i imagine for you too. >> as a survivor my mom's vacuum attempts i'm a survivor. when you read john 3:16 it clearly disproves this group messaging for god so loved his world he gave his son instead of death everyone may have life and life is always god's plan and not death and certainly not abortion. the only love this group shows is for those who agree with them. while god's love is for all people. this group is antilife. we survivors are proof that they are antilife because if they had their way, i wouldn't be here and my children wouldn't be here. and abortion is the only medical procedure that when a doctor fails, a life is saved. and no matter how you try spin it, abortion is not healthcare. i'm not a disease to be taken care of. we are the babies that survived the choice. >> brian: i saw a recent study that said 66% of the american public wishes roe v. wade was not overturned. >> well, you know, roe was overturned a year ago and as an abortion survivor i rejoice in that ruling. i think that every life is a miracle and that these moms need resources. they need support. they need help. i know my own mom went to three different states in a desperate attempt to have an abortion. and god intervened in my life 15 times. 15 miracles that he did. he proved that my life was a living testimony of his grace and his redeeming love. so i think we need to help support these moms. i think we need to help support these women who are in times of crisis. and if you would like more information and help can you go to abortion survivors.org. reach out to our organization. we would love to give you practical tips and support along the way. >> brian: jennifer, do you want to share your story before we go?
