is that something you would consider? a man would give what is due from moment of conception. >> most of the women do not want to have abortion, they feel they have no other oping because they get no support. a lot of men are nowhere to be found. they should provide support and be held accountable. in florida we recognized being pro-life means for post-partum medical care to a full year after they have a child. we have done things to advance foster care and adoption, something we want to foster. it comes down to whether women think it is financially feasible to do that. they don't get support from the father, it can be overwhelming, we are sympathetic to women in that situation. >> senator blackburn considering grants to states to put armed guards at schools, is that something you would in florida? >> we had a traumatic incidents in the state and i've become friends with the parents and we put our money where our mouths are. the guardian program allows civilians to carry on campus. media and left say teachers should not be forced to carry a firearm. these bad guys gravitate to soft targets, if they think they are walking into a school and don't know what is behind the door, they are less likely to do that. we have done a lot in florida. if there is a role to provide support, that could make a difference. maybe some grants. >> for suburban women, i hear a lot about education and curriculum and "washington post" poll came out and said 77%, it wasn't packaged with florida specifically, 77% do not want gender ideology in k-12. is there a role for the federal government as pertains to curriculum? >> we will not have a national curriculum, in florida, the model for the country. we want education, not indoctrination and parents to have their rights protected. they have right to direct education and upbringing of their kid and parents should be able to send their kids to school without having an agenda shoved down their throat. no one thought you would teach a second grader they can change genders. it is not true and inappropriate. parent rights should apply nationally. how you do that in terms of congress acting, there are strings in terms of federal funding people take. bottom line, i will be on the side of parents and having curriculum that is rooted in academic achievement and parents have right to inspect curriculum. it is unfortunate there has been pornography in schools and media will say if you take a porno graphic book out of a room, that is banning a book. no, you don't jam adult material into elementary school environment. if adults want adult material, do that on their own time. watch hunter biden's laptop for all i care, do not bring it to our schoolchildren. it is about health of our country. our country, we will not be able to reverse decline unless we get education system back on proper footing. >> thank you, governor. >> kayleigh: harris, one thing i was surprised, not a single republican talk about supporting vulnerable women. we heard him saying men should pay women when it comes to child support. we heard him say on school safety, should have grants given to allow school safety and no national curriculum when it comes to education. >> harris: talking about abortion after the debate, we were together after that on the show. you said so much was left off the table and that is some of what was left off the table. you had eight people on the stage and had to get there, it is important as the -- you don't get to hear the stuff and foster care end is something that doesn't get talked about. i liked what he said, when he said from soup to nuts, i might be paraphrasing, the life of the child you want to save, you have a plan for that and that mom has to feel supported. >> kayleigh: and something like rubio's act, you as men must support women during pregnancy, we support child support obligation. if every candidate committed to that, what a signal from the republican party. we are pro-life and supporting life. the republican parties biden we are committed to grants. >> brian: instead of six weeks, 15 weeks, you said what about the baby after a child is born. i had never seen that stat thats most times women want to have the baby, they don't feel financially they can do it. we never talk about abortion at all and now talking about abortion 6 to 15 weeks or at all and what are reasons women don't have the child. usually third rail, how do we get into it, it is personal. that is where the conversation has to go, if you want to solve it. great category, suburban women probably will decide this next election and that is where president trump lost the most in 2020. >> harris: yeah, not just solve it, if you want to beat democrats on this issue because they are gal valized by it. we saw polling out of roe v. wade. if you want to take them on, deal with this issue as a party. >> kayleigh: one thing i found interesting he said to the point about women not wanting to have abortion. a institution poll this and women feel their decision is coerced and i spoke last night with leader in the pro-life movement and he said when we poll tested this issue, number one question that moved voters, when we said, would you support ballot initiative if it allowed women to coerce be coerced to have abortions? that was a good start. >> emily: framing matters, narrative matters when you are combating the left, which has arsenal and surgical dagger way of distorting and perverting how people feel about the pro-life movement. i appreciated that you drew out practicality and enforcement or how it would be done by the governor. part of people's frustration of candidates when everything is aspirational and we saw at first debate nikki haley said, let's brass tacks, this is why this matters and i appreciated that. how are you going to get that done? he brought up national legislation in the form of education, i appreciated that style. what struck you about that? >> kayleigh: i couldn't help but chuckle when he mentioned hunter biden's laptop, quite a line. >> carley: to the point of ron desantis, likeability, which i think is strange and unfair. i don't personally care if a politician is likeable, do you get things done?
